Do these charge to 4.2 or 4.35 volts?

Good catch!

BLF is very liberal and self moderated, so it would be in your best interest to start off on the right foot.

4.2V I believe! If they were Samsung cells I would be more on 4.35V side but Sanyo…

Well right down that list the UR18650ZT’s are advertised and those are 4.3v cells. I think the question is wether or not these are protected versions of those cells.

Thanks. I’ve change them to normal aff.links

They’re with cheap PCB, that’s why they’re 4.2V. If they were unprotected according datashit they should be charged to 4.3V

may be, I am not an expert on batteries. But wher did you se they are UR18650ZT? Or there is only one model of sanyo batteries with 2800mAh!

Previously I remember seeing code bgf132 for Olight S15Ti but now it doesn’t work anymore.
any update? (hoping to the)

4.35 if you want 2800mah.

But if they are 4.35, but have protection to 4.2, then a 4.35 charger would still not get them to 4.35… is this correct? I know Fasttech has two versions both with same number, but one says 4.2 and one says 4.3. Unless the PCB is different on the 4.3 version, I don’t understand how they can be different. And don’t know how one would tell them apart if you had both versions.

Don’t know what the cutoff is on the PCB. Most chargers cutoff at 4.2 unless you are going to use a hobby charger so I wouldn’t buy them. I bought some from FT before I realized they needed 4.35 to get to the full capacity of 2800mah. Don’t know what the PCB cutoff is because my chargers cutoff at 4.2. Have a hobby charger but it’s a heck if a lot easier to pop them in a regular charger, not worth the hassle, just buy different batteries.

I happen to have some of them, I tried different batteries in some of my lights and found they are longer than my 3400 Panasonics, so I will be sticking with the Panasonics.

Many don’t appreciate members who plaster aff links especially when two posts out of their three total ones are aff links.

Just finished negotiating a BLF special discount for Sunwayman D40A: "price too low to advertise" with code bgf136

Nice price for a awesome light. Its been awhile since I have seen a good deal on a D40.

The question is: is it good or bad that I found this thread?

Depends on if you buy stuff or not. I bought a pair of NCR18650B’s I really don’t need, could have been worse I suppose. :zipper_mouth_face:

Is there a convex lens in that baton? How is the mechanic to extend? How is the pill?
