I have ordered the extendable baton, it is irresistible price.
I am not happy with SK68 clones I have received from BG. May be this time they will do good.

Regarding those X3 tints, can anyone give me a short description which tint is what?!
T4-7A
T5-5B
T6-3B
T6-4C
U2-1A

I found this pretty informative.

Agreed, there’s another “ANSI-chart” here, a bit easier to read the text. File:Ansi-white.jpg - Flashlight Wiki

EDIT: Hotlink removed, thanks the

That's what I always use. However, flashlightwiki doesn't like hotlinking, so here's a link to the page: http://flashlightwiki.com/File:Ansi-white.jpg

For a description of those tints, basically, this is what I have found:

  • 7A = very warm
  • 5B = neutral, tending towards yellow
  • 3B = neutral, tending towards cool
  • 4C = neutral, tending towards red (this one is described as very pleasant by many)
  • 3C = standard “neutral” tint (not available for the Xintd for some reason, but probably the most common tint described as “neutral”)
  • 1A = standard “cool” tint (by far the most common tint on most flashlights)

This post was also helpful: What LED tint do you prefer?

In my experience 5B can often be redder than a 4C. 5B is certainly warmer, but the balance between red and yellow in each can vary.

can klarus p2a/p1a be opened up easily for upgrading the led?

I highly doubt they can…

New stainless smooth 18650 light on new arrivals.

So the question is, what has been photoshopped out on the photos ??

Thanks, guys, for both the detailed and simplified explanations :)!

I've tried it several times to open,p2a, but without success.. I should probably use much more heat, but am afraid to damage it.

They now have dqg lights, maybe you could make a deal with them…

They also have now the handle light which was discussed in the wallbuys thread for a while

So I ordered myself a XINTD X3 CREE XM-L2 3/5Modes 2Groups 1000lm LED Flashlight with a T4-7A LED and protected 26650 5000mah ultrafire battery

Flashlight

Just hope there is room for a protected cell…

Ultrafire battery?

yes, But I ordered an unprotected one from dx to be sure…

length: 65mm

Santa, was unsere nett deutscher Freund versucht zu gesagt, is that Ultrafire is a brand that can be trusted as well as the proverbial fox in the henhouse. Please look into the purchase of a reputed, known-quality 26650 such as the King Kong .

The issue is that there exist many ‘fly-by-night’ companies in China that use the Ultrafire logo to sell sometimes dangerous batteries that at best have laughably small capacities and at worst will turn your torch into a bomb and your hand into ground meat.

Are you sure that BG battery is protected, looks unprotected to me.

Already working on that. ;)
