what is. typical shipping time from IOS

What has always bothered me is when a vendor says that the parcel has been posted on a given date and when I receive the parcel 5 weeks later, I see that the real posting stamp date is 2 weeks later than what they claimed. I don’t mind waiting for processing time, but deliberately lying about the posting date is a no no.
Normally it takes 2-3 weeks for a parcel to arrive, so when it’s still not here after 5 weeks, I know something is not right.

I ordered a host and noctigon (no cells) on the 4th Nov - dispactched 5th Nov and still waiting. I know I should be patient but really would be happy to pay extra to receive things within 2 weeks in the future.

still waiting for my Qlite driver and a XML2 NW led to arrive, time would tell if it ever arrive :expressionless:

Subject of this thread -- IOS Smile, I'm Overjoyed with hanks' Shipping.. Must be the location: Lawnga Island (that's a NY accent...)

But the problem is, is this delay the result of the Chinese Postal Services, or IOS? Perhaps it may take 3 days to get the order out, but that still only represents perhaps 10% of the total shipping time we are commonly seeing reported.

Order placed 19 November arrived 09 December Singapore Post to New Zealand.

Fast enough.

Shipping time: Longer than everyone else.

Some chinese sites seem to hire a separate company to do the actual fulfillment / shipping. Fasttech has separate entity / company do it for them.

Placed an order on 17th November and it arrived 9th December, so pretty much 3 weeks.

That is currently faster than items are getting to me from any of the other vendors.

Some have speculating that IOS uses another service to deliver parcels to their international courier, but because that first service is based on tortoises, it doesn't actually post for a couple weeks.

They also consider the parcel shipped when they print the shipping label.

I believe that they first wait a couple of weeks for the parcels grow little feet to be able to auto-deliver. the tortoise service is called after the parcels have failed to grow the said feet.

I OS products prices and Hank is honest ,it took 4 weeks and two days to get my order.

So the email I got about 12 working days to the USA/Canada is inaccurate? :_(

insanely inaccurate… well actually more like pretty inaccurate.

I don’t have access to my records atm, but I believe the few orders I’ve had from them are in the 20ish working days range. My most recent order from them just hit the US, tacking on the average 4-5 working days to make it to my doorstep, it will be about 22 working days total irrc.

Pleced the order on Nov. 14. It’s now Dec. 26 and nothing received yet. This is ridiculous - I won’t be ordering from them again.

It is actually quite sad that it’s the courrier they use to ship the orders that takes forever. Its giving them a bad reputation while its not totally their fault. Their products are very good so they really should consider changing whoever they use to ship their orders.

My last IOS, ordered on NOV 2 was 23 days.

The last order I made, small package with reflector, window and an AA driver, I asked Hank to ship to my Sky box in the USA (Extra shipping charges from USA to me) so that I’ll get it faster… It has been deemed that the package is lost and now, I’ll have to re order…. Personally, I’ve had a few service issues as well so my high opinion of IO has been changing over the months… :~
