Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

Hi guys! I’m a newbie here although I have been a lurker for many months. My first post will be about watches on a flashlight forum.
This is a homage for G-Shock DW5000C. I normally rotate this with Seiko Sumo SBDC003.

Maelstrom MMU-X3 & OldLumens Defiant Special.

Love that Submariner!

Those Invictas look HUGE in size!
I have hard time finding decent priced mechanicals in 40mm or so.

LOL…those are the SMALL Invictas! If you think they are big you should see the regular ones. HUGE!

Nice one, I wanted solar one but ended up buying regular DW5600 given that solar costs quite more yet doesnt give that much difference as far as it concerns battery life questions.

I have a Casio dive model. The battery is supposed to last seven years. The first time it lasted longer than that, and I have changed it several more times, so it was probably made before most of you were born. Works fine, but I can’t remember some of its functions. The mechanical watches I used to have usually died from getting wet.

Picked up a used 5.11 Field Ops Watch, got lucky it just needed a battery but also now needs a new o-ring. I get sweaty wearing regular watch bands so made a paracord band for it. No sweety wrist!

Today I’m using one of my favorites…Orient Blue Ray (CEM65009D)

My favorite.

Nice! What does the second crown do?

I really like that paracord band you made. Very nice touch.

Ha! I had to read your subject line a couple times to be sure.

Great watch, the Ray is probably impossible to beat for the money, or anywhere close.

Yeah, I have seen pics of some “Russian Diver” invictas, 50mm or so. Insane!

Thanks, second crown is used to adjust day of week

I totally agree! Another hard to beat automatic watch is the Invicta 8926 Pro Diver

Thanks took a bit to get it right but I like it.

This is using the similar module as DW5600. The bezel and strap also interchangeable. The only special about this model is the screw back case just like the original first G-Shock (DW5000C).

Blue Sumo

I like some Seikos.

I have seriously been thinking to get SKX007 but I have only about 6.5-7" wrist so 43mm is a bit, hmmm.....

38mm on the other hand is just good or even a tad small- ATM I use 40mm watches, I like the size.
