My first ever order from Banggood just arrived this week. I’m quite happy with the flashlight which is good (very bright) and well made, but a few things are apparent to me:

  • The pictures on their webpage do not match the item - the light I got is the same as the third and seventh image in a series of 8 pics on their webpage
  • The tint is labelled as 3C, but in actual fact it is more like 5C
  • They use Malaysia post which is quite slow - took more than 2 weeks
  • ‘shipping date’ given and date of actual shipping not the same - 4 days apart
  • Prices are a little cheaper than FT or DX
  • Their order page is not as informative as the others

Overall, I would order from BG if I couldn’t find a similar item at DX or FT. I really don’t mind paying and extra dollar or 2 for a little piece of mind :nerd_face:

my first order had no tracking, BG didn’t reply to e-mails, the live chat didn’t work for days and repeated PMs on BLF finally got a response saying they did send it, took a bit over 3 weeks to arrive, the item (P1A) worked fine

second order, got the e-mails saying it was sent, no tracking, item arrived at 32 days and works fine (P1A again) but has some blemishes

Probably I can ask in here than create new thread. Usually, how long it will take for them to respond email and PM?
I’m inquiring 2 weeks old order with not common tracking code and can’t be tracked on my country postal system.
This is my first commercial order from them. Previously won 2 times freebies sent without tracking about 1.5 months to arrive.

I have been placing most of my orders with BG :slight_smile: after I was blacklisted with DX :_( .
Shipping is also faster than DX.

I will never order from DX again. :exmark:

Well, apparently getting in touch with the customer service is kinda irritating.
2 consecutive PM only generate response “OK, I’ll check it for you” and nothing further.
email? no reply at all.

I’m hoping they actually have a ticketing system so that somebody really know there are outstanding ticket to response to.

Hopefully this kind of service doesn’t lead to horrible non arrival hassle.

My first, and only order with BG was missing parts, they claimed to re-send “one” missing part, but that was over 3-weeks ago and i never recieved it yet, and then discovered my order was missing another part that that was suposed to be included with the original order. Its likely to be the last order i will place with them, and they become the first seller to go on my red-flag list.
Unless they fix their screw-up on the order.

Okay… just had a problem with a flashlight that bought from Banggood. The battery drained itself in OFF position, so I can’t just put a battery in the flashlight. ( Try it 4 times )

Send an email about the problem to their Customer Service, and after 2 weeks without good news because they just want to spin out time.

Their first response is :
1st response ( on Feb 3 ) : Could you take a video and photo the label package ??
2nd response ( on Feb 7 ) : It will be forwarded to our expert
3rd response ( on Feb 11 ) : Their expert just suggest, put a battery when I’m gonna use it. ( This person is VERY VERY EXPERT )
PS : The rolling back cover is also make some squeaky noise and they suggest put some oil ( I know, but it’s NEW flashlight )

Another problem,

Actually I bought it with a flashlight, but who knows the item will be split shipping.
It’s just a Silicone Rubber, and after 2 weeks they told me to check in local customs, it maybe detain in there.

Bad Customer Service, Bad Response, Bad Solution.

Those rotten bangdick idiots are just a bunch of thieving crooks, I tell ya! Some of my friends decided to drive down to their headquarters (after they were shipped some dead/leaking counterfeit crapfire 18650’s, bangdick cs agents ignored all their emails for assistance). When they pulled in, a bunch of bangdick employees came running out of their cage and attacked my friends car! No kidding… check it out:

… and to think these awful people touch our flashlights before shipping. :Sp At least the “smart” ones were caught on dvr. The rest of them were either too hungover or stoned to get up off the floor.

The Bangdick motto: “to reach the epitome of demonstrated repeated gross incompetence and laziness amongst CS agents worldwide”. Its hard to believe they are capable of remembering to breath and urinate properly.

After having a battery order returned to Fasttech during the Li-ion shipping fiasco, I decided to try Banggood after reading a positive thread about them here. After ordering, I soon got a tracking number that, IIRC, had the origin of the package in Germany. The shipment was a pair of 18650s that were part of a gift to family in Romania. The shipment arrived between 2-3 weeks after I placed my order, so I was quite satisfied.

No need to beat around the bush, FlashPilot.

2nd try - still: AVOID

I thought I’d give them a 2nd chance. Others had good experience, BG frequently ads on BLF and gives coupon… Well, they stay on my personal blacklist.

44 days since order, no package received. In the meantime I got 2x Fasttech, 1x IntlOutdoor and 2x LCK-LED, all ordered after the BG order.

Just filed my first paypal-dispute, ever. Congratulations, Banggood.

My first order from Banggood came incomplete. After I posted my experience here, surprise, I got a message from BG and they asked for the order number - which I gave them together with all the dates of the transaction. Never heard of them again… 45 day period had already been over by then.

Won’t happen again.

They are slow in delivery but at least all their products are well QC compared to WB, TM and FP.

I ordered 3 of Natural White/Neutral White SolarStorm SC01 XML-2 T6 T6-3C NW LED Flashlight (SKU129255)

And received WRONG items (all 3 are XM-L)…… |( |( |(
and 1 of the XM-L is Cool White…., |( |( |( |(
and 1 of the XM-L has a faulty switch. |( |( |( |( |(

Sent an email to Neal more than 2 days ago, and have Not yet received Any reply.

Incompetence perhaps?

3 orders, 2 ready for pickup at the local post office after 2 weeks from ordering and 1(batteries) still untraceable.

Not great, but not bad either. And Neil has been replying pretty quick when I PM him.

Neal answered my email, and in his last email he requested a photo of the XM-L Cool White led….,
…I then sent him an email with the requested photo on the same day more than 4 days ago….,
…and I am Still waiting for his reply More than 4 days later….

“Neal” repeatedly uses that fake stall tactic to try and distract you from the 45 day paypal dispute limitation. Dont fall for it and file your dispute now for the entire amount that you paid. Then send him an email to say that all communications from this point on must be done through the paypal dispute system to protect yourself from his poor customer service bullshit routine, and that you will no longer reply to his emails. Tell him you learned your lesson through flashpilot and that many others will be doing the same every time he pulls his BS. He knows darn well that I kicked his butt every time he tried to rip me off… and I never backed down until he fulfilled his promises. Ignore any further emails from him and reply to him only through paypal. Dont forget to escalate the dispute when directed by paypal. Just tell the truth and paypal will almost always side with you. Under no circumstances should you ever cancel a dispute unless you have the corrected merchandise in your hand and verify that it is exactly what you ordered. If he fails to comply within the time frame, paypal will likely refund the entire amount. Ive been down this road at least 4 or 5 times with the bangdick idiots till I finally stopped buying from them… at least for the time being. :smiley: Have fun… and please remind Neal (chines for: moron) that flashpilot sent you. I bought a neutral swm d40a from BG and they sent a CW d40a…was not please because I don’t use CW lights very often…they refunded me 4$ for the error so that was cool of them…I won’t buy from them again…i’ve avoided chinese vendors for awhile now, but the price was too good to not take a risk…the light arrived quickly and in good condition so they did a good job with that, but I doubt they’ll get another crack with my cash…

Of course not every time. I also said I stopped ordering from them.
