DInodirect discount on C8 Q5 + battery +charger, just 10.30$ (Be quick!!) + else

Anybody actually successfully order one of these with the free shipping? Something seems amiss...

Yes, the flashlight will be sent with the charger and the 18650 battery, and our related stuff is changing the shipping fee now, and it will be better soon, i will make a post here if everything is ok.

And i want to tell the members here that not all of our products are free shipping now, please check here:

As far as I can tell, nobody was let down for something they paid for which would constitute a "scam". I have no idea why it's so obscenely expensive for shipping out of their warehouse in antarctica instead of HK, but that's the consumer's choice to purchase or not. I mean, plenty of things on ebay have overinflated shipping costs, but ebay isn't a "scam".

we have updated the status of the flashlight in the background , it the flashlight will be free shipping, but the price on the website will be a little higher, you can check it later. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Shipping cost went down to $19.88, but thats still far away from being free...

will be alright soon

Free shipping for regular post now, but we have updated the price a little, but still a good deal!~ With charger and battery. Check it here:

Its $14.81 now with coupon 'cabin10'.

also a good deal,haha

finally figured all the problem out!~

BS is all I got to say.

I just checked DD, and the price says 10.30, but when I Add it to the cart, it shows 16.45... strange

I cleared the cache, and cookies.. still shows 10.30, and after add it to the cart 16....

anyway , never mind!

DD advertises heavily on the net and deploy a marketing tactic to get unaware, unsuspected or inexperienced online customers. Advertise with big discount and other marketing tricks to make the product's price looks cheap then Overcharge with shipping cost to make up the price.

On the Headline, the Free Shipping shows very obvious but when you start browsing around, the shipping cost applies only to a number of items. When people read the headline, they have the impression that everything includes free shipping but it is not.

In the shopping cart, your order item/s still shows at advertised price, then you proceed to check out, fill in all details including your credit card (or other financial details), everything still ok. then at the final step, the shipping cost appears to add up the total cost. At that stage, you will be in shock. If you know how to back out then it is fine otherwise Bad luck !. The shipping fee is intended to be the last item and it is the trap for unsuspected customers.

I have been shopping online in the last 10 years quite often without any incident. However, I have seen a large number of website doing business with the intention to rip off. So be aware. Secondly, use your credit card payment with a bank which offers insurance for your purchase. Anything goes wrong, request a "charge back", believe me you will get your money back. I did a business with credit charge facilities so I know the bank protects its customer first.

How valuable is your time I spent at least 4 hours on live chat trying to get my little problem squared away and i still had to wait until the next day to get a new coupon code. There is a reason they earned the avoid rating. I am just waiting for everyone who signed up for the 16 dollar headlamp to find out about the shipping or handling charge. Nothing in this life is free I think you are finding this out the hard way how much time have you spent so far on your free coupon.

I have only filed one PayPal dispute and it was my own fault, I ordered something from Focalprice after multiple people on this sight told me not to, kind of like what you just did. I am no expert on PayPal disputes. I do know you only have 45 days from the date of your purchase to file a dispute. I would wait a couple weeks and if your order has not shown up in say 2 or 3 weeks then I would file a dispute just don't wait to long because after 45 days from the date of purchase you are screwed and PayPal won't help.

In the last one and half years I ordered 16 times from DD. They are not perfect, but I never had a problem with them. If you take your time and search thoroughly, and use coupos, you can buy some stuff for less than on DX or others vendors.

I bought a cheap lighter from them and a 1$ offer thing in the checkout. Fastest shipping ever, item was great, I will order more for giving away. So in overall I had very good experience, however I see the scam part and I dont like it at all.

@rad -

How about buying more expensive items ? can't rip you off with an item worths a few dollars

No need to "change" anything, just get few of these and you may use the same charger also when travelling in US..

BTW: I got the same light yesterday and the charger did undercharge the original battery to 4.12V (only). I'll try to confirm that with another battery some other day.
