Beam shots are with 14500 battery? Maybe adding some with AA would be helpful.
This sounds like a really interesting light. On the outside it looks like it was modeled after an Olight S15.
I wonder what the internal construction is like. Is there a pill? If so, does the pill screw in or does it simply slot in with an alignment tab like the S15?
I might get one of these. I like the styling. I’m a fan of small sideswitch lights.

nice review… but surprisingly 3.8A Convoy C8’s spill is so dim, I thought it would light up the garage even more

What is your estimate in lumens ?
Actually XM-L2 @1,3A may produce around 450 otf lumens.
i noticed you never mentioned the hidden “extra Low” mode, ( hold the swttch on from “off” and it turns on a lower Low with only 0.02 amps draw on a 14500.
I modded mine with a Nichia 219, and its now my favourite single AA/14500 non-zommie EDC light.
I am still interested in this light.
Any other places it can be purchased ?
