Thanks jmpaul! I find myself deliberating on buying from wallbuys now as well, as it is $42.99-$44 right now on sale from them. If you were to get hkequipment to make us a deal we can't refuse, then I'm all for it. As it's looking though, I'm watching very closely to see which is the better deal in the end. Wallbuys deal ends on the 3rd, so hopefully hke will provide a better deal before then, or I will just purchase the SG3 through wallbuys instead, as I'm not sure about us hitting 25 people in this GB.
I do agree with TomasVarnik, and say if hke can do $40, that would surely seal the deal for me, and I'm sure most people as well :)
Please change my order to an SF3 NW please, as I jumped at the NW SF5 for $42.99 from WallBuys. But I’ll be watching closely to see how this plays out, so do us right HKE

Oh snap! I already ordered from a few days ago. I will send an email to them explaing they will only need 17 pieces more.

I have received my SG3 from HKE a few days ago. I bought it a week before the GB started. :(
It comes in a magnet flap box. Inside is a soft pouch, headband, wristband and clip. I also got the reflector.
The fit and finish is very good except for very small burs left around the inside of the battery tube where the tail cap screw's on. They can be easily scraped or filed off. The anodizing is good and the aluminum has a brushed finish. Carbon fiber sleeve is very smooth. Threads came dry but are very smooth once lubed.
I got the NW tint and this is my first NW, at first it looked too warm for me because I'm used to CW, but I quickly got used to the tint. Beam is very smooth with full flood and reflector. With the reflector it is still a wide beam because it is shallow and OP.
Operation is easy with the switch on the head. Press to turn on or off, hold to cycle through modes. it remembers the mode you have selected until it loses power. Turbo mode is not remembered, it instead goes to the mode you had before going to turbo.
I like the SG3 a lot, the only thing that I think it's missing is a magnet in the tail cap.

Sorry for a useless post but everybody in OP ordered NW. After having watched how awesome NW is outdoors, it is hard imagining going something else for a few more lumens
I don’t quite understand the logic behind this process. Since the whole idea behind a group buy is a collective bulk purchase at a discounted price, why wouldn’t hkequipment just create a new discount code and make it public? They already know there’s interest, and “the more the merrier” is the notion that makes the most sense.
But I guess I can wait for the jump through the final hoop. Thanks for making this happen in any case.
