Strange,

The WP6 shown in the pictures is definetly the WP6 II version.

The orignal WP6 has no spacers included.

Im suprised nobody is getting the wp6. The pictures are indead the wp6II version. The first version didnt have the screw-in addaptors nor did it have the abillity to install them. From pictures I've seen, the first version had no hole on the positive contact to screw the addaptors into. Also from various pictures on the internet, there is no mention anywhere on the packaging or the charger itself weather if its a version 2 or original. The only place that calls it a version II is szwholesale.com. Even xtar just calls it the same name as the original. Manafont has the best price anywhere i've looked. I think I'll get one.

Ok after looking at the xtar site, they do list a wp6 and a wp6II. However, they both have wp6 printed on the charger. There is no II printed on the wp6II version. This is confusing. Now I'm not sure anymore.

It's a WP6 II on the pictures on Manafont, and they take pictures of the items they actually sell. So what is there to be confused about?

Got it in the mail today. Has spacers and a car adaptor. Doesn't say anything on it about being a version II but I gotta assume that the spacers means that it is. Charging up some xtar 18700 batteries right now. Had the batteries first but i couldn't charge them with my wf-139.

Is 600mA charge rate ok for 16340? It's not listed as one of the compatible cells but would fit with the spacers. It would take 4 spacers stacked together and you only get 6 of them so you'd need more spacers for charging 2 cells.

Too much, IMO. Better 300 mA, more or less.

I was about to rig together some spacers for 16340 cells. I found some computer screws that have the right thread but I think i wont bother now. I'll keep using my modified wf-139.

600mAh is about 1C , 1C is ok [ 1C = 1xCapacity ]

Most chargers tapper off so its not the end of the world ...

300mAh would be more ideal , but not many chargers offer this [ WF-188 comes to mind ]

You have MP2 for 16340. (250 mAh)
