What’s your budget ceiling?

The Sunwayman D40A is one of the best multiple AA (4) lights around right now. Incredible brightness, great UI. One of my favorites. Many prefer it in Neutral instead of Cool White. I’ve owned and liked both.

Nitecore EA4AW or Sunwayman D40A.

Um, the request was for triple A (AAA) lights guys - not AA.

Don't have much to recommend in the way of AAA multi-cell flashlights but I can tell you the Spark SD73 headlamp is a winner. 3 x AAA, good quality construction and a beautiful flood coverage. There is an optional screw-in reflector that changes the beam to more of a regular spot-spill profile. I have the neutral (warm) version.

If you are dead-set on a regular bulb-headed tube then the form factor might might not appeal, but the SD73 comes with pocket clip. There are also options for a screw-in tailcap magnet or tripod socket.

Well worth a look IMO. Very happy with mine. There are a couple of threads either here or CPF with more detailed overviews.

I just got one of these, which came with a 3xAAA battery carrier (but not from Ebay - can’t remember where):

I have the UltraOK clone-mate to the one at BG. It's OK, no pun intended, but hardly a 'fun' light. Not driven hard, obviously, since it runs on AAA's; has next mode memory amenable to the pencil mod; would be a good thrower with more power, but has a hollow pill.

What about some 2xAAA penlight?
Led Lenser makes pretty good 4xAAA lights, but they are over that budget. Maybe there are some good clones out there?

There are lots of Triple AAA lights out there. None of them are very bright and none of them last long. AAA cells do not have the capacity to last long. AA would be much better, but AAA is pretty much a waste of time. Just my thoughts. I have played around with this stuff for a while now and I've never found a Triple AAA light that was worthy of carrying.

The one from Banggood is about as good as any. Expect it to be about 200 lumens Max, with 3xAAA in it. Most of the 3xAAA lights are zoomies and worthless, but if all you want is a just for fun light, then they might be what you want. There aren't really many good quality, higher priced 3xAAA lights out there.

Thanks for all of the recommendations. The diving light looks interesting.

FYI, I think that the one in this thread is the same one:

Tank 737...??

i'd agree that the only good multiple AAA lights would be a penlight or three keychain lights and a piece of tape wrapped around them . AAA's are so lame they aren't worth using in multiples.
