I’d be in for one with the modes suggested by the OP, so long as it either has mode memory or starts on high.

Would prefer NW, but would accept CW.

One thing - tail standing. The review says it doesn’t tail stand due to the switch boot. Would it be possible to rectify this?

Honestly my preference is for 3 mode, start on low with memory and be driven around 3.8A. Moon would be nice but with a thrower like this I’m more than good without it.

RaceR86 has proposed this, and Tom E agrees: “3 normal well spaced modes are good for me. I believe that the majority who like moonlight already have a better (more floody) light for close up moonlight stuff. My guess is that the majority of the buyers will not use it (on a light like this). Just make low proper low and I believe you are more likely to make more people happy. Id like to see “wider mode spacing”. More like: H 3A (100%) M 0,75A (25%) L 0,035A (1,2%) Quick off time mode memory Low voltage warning from 2,7-3V (A double blink every 60sec or something like that) Cut off below 2,7V” What say you???

I like racer86’s idea with one slight change…… I actually carry these lights to walk home after class. I really appreciate hidden strobes. Maybe a quick triple click to get to strobe? It’s only there if you need it, shouldn’t bother you otherwise.

Prefer 4 modes like the Qlite driver with moonlight, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.
I’m trying to save my flashlight budget for an Armytek Viking but this was too tempting…

It has been a while ago since there was a group buy with blf-customising :-) thanks to BG and others involved. I am in for one!

My preferences: the modes that krono suggested are nice, the four qlite modes, with moonlight better. Perhaps a neutral white emitter. At 4amps high a aluminium star will still do fine.
