Selfbuilt does excellent reviews about the positive aspects of the lights he reviews. IMO, he often doesnt disclose some of the obvious negative design flaws of flashlights unless they almost doesnt work all together. Ive bought a few lights based on his reviews and have been quite disappointed, leaving me wondering if he was paid to write the reviews.

Not at all. I just want others to be aware that not all pertinent information is given by that individual when considering purchasing a light.
I like his reviews, very conscientious. Check them frequently, especially his Output/Runtime Comparison graphs.
