Australia Based Deals / Info / Links / Discussion

Well, well, well… you must be pretty close to where I am.

…Just remember to roll up the windows before you go through Mo-town, & don’t feed the animals in Cabbo’ :davie:

Theres a heap of us up on the Sunny Coast. Yeah I only drive down the Goose in those parts. Thats not true, but I try to avoid them.

Just bought a couple of packs of the ENELOOP AAA 4 pack for $9.99 Hardly ever see them on sale.

Where from? Link?

Cheers, might have to grab a pack

I really want to buy some too, so cheap. But I have nothing to use them in!! Should I go buy a AAA just to use the batteries? Haha!

to FmC - blasted down the freeway and picked up the Asus pack.
Charging those suckers now. $2 a batt. WooHoo.

to BIGBLOCKMOPAR - 2 sets of ENELOOP AAA 4 pack ordered. Great price.

Whew, big afternoon. Time for a beer.

I’m right there with you, rexdog!

Sweet! Just scored some AAA's myself.

Best of all I just received my 8 pack AA eneloops from DS purchased earlier in the week ($24.95 including postage) and somehow THEY DOUBLED UP ON MY ORDER! :):) 2 separate packs sent, identical order numbers and tracking. Two 8 packs for 25 bucks!

All thanks to this thread, thanks aeou!

Now you’ll have to get one or two of the GB Stainless steel AAA lights for $6 each !

.

Do you like it?

It has a really hard switch, and the WW is almost too yellow.
But for $6, with a lithium primary, it’s an impressive gift light.

Yeh I looked at that, not a fan! Don’t know why. Unpleasant tint, a bit long for a AAA.

+1

This is great thanks…. Subscribed. Now all we need is place that will sell protected 18650’s at a more reasonable price.

I wish we had RMM in Australia :stuck_out_tongue:

Supersports600 on ebay sells protected 18650’s but for an absolutely ridiculous price.

see: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/19237

18650 gonna have to be either the laptop battery from ebay previously mentioned or fasttech!

RMM has been a bit frustrating for me. Twice used the site contact form for a quote and never received a response. Just gonna wait for a proper online international ordering system.

Illumn. Works out fine if you dont want 1 battery. Calvin is great to deal with too, and prices are comparable. Only the cost of post stings, but like I said, buy more than one item and its not so bad. When I worked it out, using the cheaper Chinese sites it wasnt worth the wait and hassle over a buck or two per battery. Illumn just delivers quick, same quality, same price, just spread post across more items.
