Old, I was about to order and just realized that manafont has a referral program:
"How to make someone become my Tier 1/2/3 Referral Customer?
There are 2 method you can make someone become your Tier 1 Referral Customers when they register with us.
1) You have an unique link that is available in your Mana Points account, you can simply get your friends to visit Manafont.com through the link. And they will automatically become your Tier 1 Referral Customer when they register an account. The link appears similar to this: https://www.manafont.com/index.php?rp=1234
2) Alternatively, you can ask your friend to enter your Manafont ID as a Referral code during the registration process. Your Manafont ID is your registered email address with us.
For more Tier 2 and 3 Referral customers, you basically do not need to do anything, because they will grow along with the referral by your Tier 1 customer. You can enjoy massive Reward as the "Tree of referral customer" grows geometrically"
You should post your manafont id in your BLF signature so we can start building a few points for you. After all, you've certainly earned it. Im holding off ordering till I get your mf id... so hurry and post it.
Hmm, this isnt working. It seems referrals are for new accounts only. Ive emailed Jim to tell him that you referred me and asked how to proceed. Go ahead and edit your post and remove your email for now and I'll get back to you when I hear from him. Sorry, I probably should have PM'd you. Besides, I think the code is when you login to MF and click Mana Points account and the number is the rp= number at the end of the string. (post #14, item 1)
Sorry Old, manafont wouldnt insert your code for me. I went around twice with Jim via email and they wouldnt budge. I'll be buying this one from KD. MANAFONT LOSES AGAIN!
The Manafont page shows it as also handling 10440's. Although one would fit it I can't imagine how it could be safe for a 10440. Its charge rate for a semi-depleted sub-3.6v cell is far to high a rate for a 10440.
Is this a so called intelligent charger? Ric from cnquality says the DRY is brighter with unprotected cells (sanyo 2600) but i was going to buy protected 2600 xtar cells. As and inexperienced user, wihtout time to constantly monitor the batteries i think unprotected cells would be unsafe. Unless (what ric told me) the charger is intelligent...
my xtar 2600's are now 8 hours charging and still it doesn't say fully charged, i'm getting afraid that i have a bad charger :s, can't measure batteries as i don't have a meter. Will ask a neighbour if i see him.
If the charger does use a CC/CV algorithm a good estimate is to add 50% to the calculated value. The CV phase slows things down.
The TR003P4 does not exactly charge with 500 mA, 150 to 200 mA would be more correct. If the batteries are empty it will take more than 12 hours to charge.
First battery is charged after 9 hours, put it in my KD C8 and wOWOWOWOwowowooot!
The light i owned before seems to put out 75 lumen max if i compare to the low of this light, just sick ... and then i still have a NW dry coming up :o
