Bough it from GearBest (probably no longer available) when it was $6.78, they’ve raised the price to $9 now.
The build quality is good for the price, no sharp edges, no noticeable flaws. The anodizing is cheap SK-68 style with some scratches. The knurling is shallow and not too grippy. Tailcap thread are anodized, but lockout isn’t possible. It has aluminium reflector and glass lens. The clip feels nice and sturdy.
3 Modes. High>Low>Strobe. Next mode memory, removable by pencil mod.
I measured 1.7A High, quickly drops to 1.65A; 0.4A Low. Beam is nice and tight, the emitter slightly off center, only noticeable by slightly misshaped corona. There is a dark ring inside the hot spot, only noticeable on white wall. The PWM is detectable, but fast enough not to be noticeable to me in regular use.
The first light from GB had damaged LED and they sent me another one. I’ve replaced the first one with XP-G2 4B from CNQG. Really like the tint and the beam, not as throwy as XP-E, but more useful at closer ranger and brighter overall.
I’ve also ordered neutral XP-E2 from eBay. I’ve placed it in the second one. BTW the tint is good, it’s not 4500K as the listing suggests, it’s somewhat colder than 4B, but it’s nice white, no traces of green or blue.
Few beamshots. Don’t look at the tint, I forgot to change white balance and it was on auto. XPE2, XPE (stock), XPG2
