  • the brightest thrower with 1*18650
  • the brightest flooder with 1*18650
  • the brightest zoomable with 1*18650
  • the brightest multiple LEDS (3or4or5 LEDS) with 2 or 3*18650
i am really appreciate your opinion.
thank you

Hi there, Harry. Welcome to BLF! :D

Price range for each light?

This is definitely is something to consider for :

  • the brightest multiple LEDS (3or4or5 LEDS) with 2 or 3*18650

no specific budget, as long as i can get of what i mentioned above

Depends on your budget, but

For a thrower, I'd get a KD C8 from kaidomain.com ($25) If you want to spend a hundred bucks and get a bigger light, get a Tk35 or TK41 from Manafont

For a Floody 18650, if you want to spend $40, an S-Mini from Shiningbeam.com Your basic P60 drop-in style light is also quite floody, so a Solarforce L2 or L2p with a 3-mode XM-L or the Ultrafire XM-L from manafont in an Ultrafire 504B or SkyRay body would be just fine. Just be sure you get a drop-in with an OP (orangepeel) reflector, not SMO (smooth) and it will be less spot and more flood. You could get a MF body and drop-in for about $21 total

A zoomie XM-L? I'd save my money and skip that one.

I don't know squat about multiple-18650 battery lights, they scare the hell out of me

tk35 is big. i want something like c8 size.. but the brightest

Hard to get anything brighter since most of 1*18650 are driven @ 3A .

You can try this too, it's the same. http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/ultrafire-c8-xml-t6-3mode-led-flashlight-118650-p-5271

This may the brightest 1x*18650 XM-L

http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/ultrafire-uf980l-980lumen-t6-memory-led-flashlight-118650-p-5513

UltraFire UF-980L

But for this one, be prepared to change the batteries , and don't use the cheap ones.

i came across this trustfire x8. it is reviewed that it is brighter than c8 and 980L, very good thrower, is it true?

Very nice light, but you will get only 1A @ HI

X8 could be brighter with 2x18650.

  • the brightest thrower with 1*18650---- TF x8 or x9
  • the brightest flooder with 1*18650----??
  • the brightest zoomable with 1*18650------??
  • the brightest multiple LEDS (3or4or5 LEDS) with 2 or 3*18650-----??

For the multiple LEDs light, see this list: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/3563

I'd say none of these lights is actually big ...All of these lights are small considering what we used to use .I wouldn't be worried about size with an xml light unless you want one to go in your pants pocket.

what do you think x9/980L/c8?
