Quick! Emergency DMM question!

Sorry to seem so rude with my thread title. I'm heading to wally world to pick up my DMM and would like to know where I would find a decent set of leads for a good price. I'm leaving shortly so that's the "emergency" ;) haha. Thanks!

Here are some...

I apologize for not being more clear with my original request. I was wondering if anyone new of a local shop that might carry some. I could hop from one to the next and probably find some but I was hoping someone already had a good idea of the type of store I would try first. For example, would a general hardware store carry something like this?

They come with leads. Do you mean better than the stock ones? I don't really have an answer as I use the stock leads but Radio Shack comes to mind locally.

Hard to find good leads locally without paying an arm and a leg. The first ones that fran82 links to at DX are 18AWG wires. That's what you want. Most of the rest of the leads are terrible, with very thin wire. They will measure voltage okay, but not currents. Even on eBay it is hard to tell what you are getting because they all claim 10A or 20A.

edit: Well, now I'm going to take that back. It seems they have changed the design of the ones at DX and the ones they are selling now are not as good. That's too bad because that was a good source of 18AWG leads. Some of the early user photos show 18AWG on the wires with notches in the metal probes, but now there is no writing and no notch. And the measurements of resistance seem to have gone up.

The other route is making your own out of some good thick wire. Some people have done that here. It seems like Don uses 10 gauge wire or something like that. I haven't had any success making my own yet.
