Paul.

Sounds good Paul. Do you have any links or pictures of work you have carried out before?

You beat me to it mate, just getting them all together from various USB sticks etc.
Will add a few more tonight.
Cheers.

An example of the cost would be great too. Eg, cost (machined and delivered) of a convoy s3 copper spacer for a triple build.

Thanks !

Where are you located, Paul?

…& do you drink beer??

One problem. It all looks to neat and clean. I believe I can fix that for you free of charge.

That was the plan mate but at the moment there are too many variables.

eg.
*Would the customer cover delivery costs or not.
*If customer provides the host to mod, or have a heat sink made for compared to if I already know the dimensions.
*If drawings or specs are included instead of having to measure and design from scratch.
*Time restraints.
*Availability to materials like Copper/Aluminum bar, or if new stock needs to be ordered.

So for the short term, I’m going to consider every job or request individually and prefer that I’m contacted through a PM to discuss a quote rather than have a set price list and end up charging too much or cutting myself short.

Once I develop a fail safe system and stock up on materials etc, it will allow me to operate more efficiently with set prices and accurate times expected for completion.

Cheers.

Melbourne, and yes hahaha of course mate

Doesn’t it!!!

Yeah thought I’d tidy up before taking pics, and while downgrading in size from a previous lathe this one is only 2 days old.

This is dangerous for me. I'll be in touch at some point regarding machine work, without a doubt.

I think we survived the most dangerous part….in finding this forum

Feel free to contact me anytime mate.
Cheers.
