Hank, all I was able to get about the battery pack is the capacity that should be around 4000mAh which is not bad for Chinese ones. It could be good to run Yinding for about 2 hours on full.

I went for a Fairy too, first purchase in 2015, have been wanting one since it came out (new years resolution was: no new flashlights before the majority of my BLF-projects are finished, well that went down the drain fast :-( )

What is the mAh rating on a 10180? I saw one on alibaba that said 100mAh…that can’t be right…that light would run what 1/10 an hour or 6 minutes at 1A…good grief!

I'm afraid it is, it is less than half the size of a 10440, so roughly less than half the capacity would be between 100 and 150 mAh. This light runs at 300 mA on high, so about 20 minutes runtime.

BTW, I forgot to include the charger (did not know about it :-( ) so I bought a USB charger on Ebay for a few dollars, changing the sense resistor will make it charge at 100mA (lineair as I understand). WH, is it correct to assume that the dedicated Fairy charger uses the same electronics inside?

Do you have the Australian plug versions? I have no interest in adapters. I already own one, and it came with an Aussie plug so Im fairly sure make them that way, although possible the last supplier sourced them separately and switched them in the boxes.
