September Groupbuy in DD

All I know for certain is we need to choose a light that gets a 5-star rating on DD

It's actually a very good price, 20 bucks less than normal price. Of course it's not a budget light, it's even more expensive than Fenix brand, IMO.

OK... how about these ones. They are well known on the forum and if a good price was offered, maybe more people could see what's all the fuss about:

大龙网_跨境电商B2B商机平台_移动端跨境贸易新体验 (note, that this one is with battery and charger …since it’s probably crap, how about flashlight only with even better pricing?)

Coolperl, I agree. Either a triple xm-l or the Trustfire X9. I didn't notice the posts above regarding people wanting one. I love mine and would have no problem getting another.

But of course, price is king.

That deal is not for this forum or for a group buy, that's their price for the next 12h.

I’m with you on this one. It’s a shame DD doesn’t carry any Xeno lights. Under $30 should be the target for all of these group buys as they will get the most sales from us that way. The Xeno E03 normally sells for just over $30 so if they could give us even a 20% discount they’d sell a lot of them.

+1 This is a very good light! Their current price of $37.71 is actually quite good, and group buy price could be even lower..

Summer: How good offer can you make? We want Skyray STL-V2 for a good price!

[The reason for me being so excited is that I finally received my FF STL-V6 from DX and it's great!! ~48k lux@1m without modifications!!]

So you see a price of $37.71 for the Skyray STL-V2 on DD website?

OIC, I stand corrected. It was EUR instead of USD.. I hate links with currency baked in. :(

Summer: Adjust the group buy price to $35 and you will sell many of those!

Perhaps:

Shouldn't we start a poll and vote? This is getting nowhere.

people are discussing light they want vs lights offered. we need separate post to discuss what we want and leave this one to discuss the offered ones

i like these SWM but they are costly - once i see the final price i can make a choice.

IDK who has any experience with these are they worth the money - they look good ... good UI etc ...but ??

anyone want to start a post/poll of which lights we would like offered post a link

also i understand DD has some bad rep and people here dont want us to get ripped off. I REALLY appreciate that , i do. but i would say be careful posting.

you know what the site is and buying from HK/CHI

better yet start a post to discuss it in depth or a specific point

just my 2 cents

The Palight has a 57mm head, almost the size of an X9. The Trustfire X8 head is only 48mm, far smaller.

First, if it has the ability to run 1*18650 or 2*18650 it is extremely unlikely to be unregulated.

Second, even if it is turned out to be as erratic as an X9, it is far easier to mod the driver on it than it would be modding an X9.

The V10a price is great. Seriously I can't believe people are criticising it, I understand it wasn't the best choice for them to offer to a budget forum but people were asking for it and I do not see how anyone can expect them to sell a fully variable sunwayman for less than $60 when there are others paying over $100 for it. I am one who also can't afford it even at the greatly reduced price, but quit complaining.

I recommend the Trustfire TR-3T6 (3 cell version) or another go on the Fenix E21 since I missed that one last time.

It seems to me it is best for them to offer 'budget' versions of higher named brands many on here wouldn't otherwise consider but can be brought into the right price bracket with the help of a promotional discount. Fenix E series and Jetbeam B series seem ideal candidates..

I'll add ITP to that list. But JB and ITP are 10-12 bucks overpriced, compared to any other store. So they should make them at least $20 cheaper.

PS: what about SWM C10A?

if im choosing from the lights offered i'd go for the v10a.

but i would really prefer the palight xm-l light.

DD was able to offer their $74 Fenix TK50 for $47 at another forum, so why not the $63 V10A at $35..?

At manafont, who are a good base rate for 'cheap' chinese prices a TK50 retails at $85. The V10a is $84, that price on the TK50 is a little better comparatively but maybe they had greater profit margins already on that. The V10a was already on special offer, so asking to half a special deal price is not the same as asking them to halve a normally priced product.. The deal for the V10a is the best they can do according to their own rep, and with free shipping included, I believe that.

OK, after mention C10A model, I checked the specs. Very similar to V10A, 3 mode + "hidden" strobe and cost 15 bucks less. I will be very happy with it aswell :D (90x21 mm, Nitecore D10 size, so quite small AA light)
