I like those, I’ll be having some of those next month when my finances recover from the FastTech sale.

I got a couple of those, really like them, useful for the nastier tasks like prying, scraping etc when you don’t want to damage the edge on a decent knife.
They arrive fairly blunt with steep angles . I didn’t bother to sharpen them.

thought i would post this deal.

At very long last, received my first "batch" (6 total) of Sanrenmu and Enlan blades from FastTech.

First impression: Really worth the money!!!

Pros: Exactly as pictured and measured on FastTech; Fit/finish much more than acceptable; Blades not dull out-of-the-box; Individually packaged in retail blister danglers which protected them from each other during shipping; No excessive oils/greases/gunks oozing out of them; Relatively clean surfaces; Mechanically operational; So far, lock-ups are perfectly stable and blades centered.

Cons: A few of them will be disassembled, cleaned and lighly lubed - actions around pivot are either gritty or a bit resistive; Perhaps a few internals may need stoned; May use a fine file or sandpaper to round just one or two sharp liner edges.

Neutral: Most will be sharpened before use.

Verdict: I can think of no "knife-based" reasons to not buy, use and gift these gems!!!!! Exceptional values!!!!!

Sweet. Just bought 2 of those little backpack knives. Kinda hard to think that Aliexpress is going to expand in US if they don’t take paypal :frowning:

I have emailed some of the venders and they have given me some PayPal accounts to pay to after they sent me a bill. not often but it does happen.

They are too big to need PayPal.

Has anybody seen any reviews or feedback about these Chinese Ontario RAT-18868 Folding Knives? I think I want one for $19

I wouldn’t buy them personally. Not aus-8 steel, more like 3cr.

I ordered two after reading this.

That’s $6 less than Amazon. If it is genuine, it seems like a good deal.

Genuine/original and Aliexpress seems far to be right aka I think that Rat1 is not genuine or again, is veeeery difficoult find some things original on Aliexpress…

But…if you wanna try, I’ll wait for you report about Rat1 and than will decide if buy it or not from same vendor

It’s an excellent heavy duty user knife for the money. I can’t certify wether the blade is made of AUS-8 or not but it easily performs at the same level like my 9Cr18MoV or 8Cr13MoV blades from Enlan. I grabbed both of mine HERE.

could probably be certain that they are not aus-8

I can’t comment that. I don’t want to achive the “keyboard metallurgist” title here.

Certain sellers mark these ~$19 priced RAT folders as “little defect”. I wanted to be sure about the quality that’s why I ordered both of mine from a reliable seller.

Any reason to believe this seller isn’t selling the same knife as where you bought yours for $24? His is $19.

I wanted a bigger folder so recently ordered the Harnds Viper. It is sitting in my mailbox according to the tracking info. But I’m already having buyers regret because I didn’t get the exact color i wanted so thinking plan B is this $19 Rat1 clone.

I had plenty of pleasant deals with that seller I linked. I don’t know anything about this other cheaper seller.

Just received an attractive knife in the mail today from FastTech. First thing I did after inspecting and wiping it down was put it in my pocket.

"Authentic Sanrenmu 7078MUX-GVK"

Literally razor sharp. Perfect fit (3 finger) and cutting angle for my mid-sized hands. Black back spacer works well with teal upper color. Jimping and thumb insert are perfectly aligned for comfortable thumb grip. Inset (not insert) tan scales make for perfect contour. Opening action requires some effort/flick.

Please note that lock-up occurs with internal detents - manual closing requires a firm push-down on the spine of the blade. This is not a liner/frame lock. Okay with me as I don't put my EDCs to hard use requiring hard lockup.

$11.58 delivered???????? Insane bargain and value!!!!!!! The knife I took out of my pocket was a CRKT Ken Onion Eros - a fantastic knife in its own right - at $115.79! For me, exactly 10% of the cost for 90% of the knife (10% goes to the Eros for lightning fast deployment, true lockup and aesthetic beauty).

Is the flip on this knife decent?
