Thank you so much for all of your contributions to BLF, and for helping many of us out with so many builds by offering information, advice and producing so many excellent driver boards. We’ll miss you while you’re gone. Glad everything is alright, and hopefully you’ll be back soon!
Have a well deserved rest and don’t forget about us, we still need you to push the driver envelope
Something like a confirmed license for your designs if that is possible would be good to know, for future GB’s that may want to get other producers like EE on the A6 GB to use one of your designs.
If you will not be available when something like that comes up in the future.
The 1504 GB for example briefly mentioned the interest.
+ one on what RMM has said here. I do appreciate letting us know as did mattaus. A reason for disappearing is not needed just that they disappeared with a wave.
I've been known to dissapear from forums on a whim for extended periods of time. Sometimes life happens, sometimes another interest takes up the time that was used on that forum.
Thanks for the send-off folks, I appreciate all the kind words very deeply. I’ve missed you all and BLF a lot. Anything that wasn’t responded to while I was gone was with no ill-will intended. As a rule I just haven’t been keeping up with any of that.
RMM and others are right - I made this thread primarily out of consideration for others. Many of us have spent a lot of collective time worrying about past members who hit that “magic postcount” and disappeared without a trace. Lots of them were good folks and we never knew if they’d been struck dead or what. Sometimes it’s just hard to help worrying about those who simply disappear.
I’m around for the moment, but no guarantees about the long-term.
