maybe the lister doesn't understand that Cree is a registered trademark and a specific brand and is calling a generic power led a Cree much like someone might mistakenly call generic hook-and-loop closure Velcro. it could be an honest mistake.

Not a Thespian but I spend a lot of time with many on set or in recording studies because I produced training or promotional audios and videos. The conversations with them over meals kidda rubbed off.
