Anyway as I was doing my work yesterday, I read on the news that the United States Military's Don't Ask Don't Tell policy is something has ended as of 12:01 a.m. on Tues, September 20. Gays and lesbians in the United States military are now able to function publicly. The Department of Defense made it clear that it will have no tolerance for anti-gay activity. The almost 14,000 gays who were released during the 18-year-long policy are now being asked to reenlist. But there are several more difficulties facing GLBT Americans.
