Heider?? Whoa there…
I’d be VERY wary of buying a flashlight that doesn’t have a FIRE in its name 
Seriously though… I see these kind of claims all the time. Especially flashlight brands that I’ve never even heard of.
What a joke. So sad to see the folks get scammed by people like this.
I had a fellow hunting buddy who showed up oneday to hunt and he was so proud of the his new super powerful light. He was foaming at the mouth to show me. He claimed it was the brightest one he could find. He paid over $100 for a cheap C8 from Ebay. He said it came with everything! And it did. It had a $2 charger, some “fire” batteries, cheap lanyard, and cheap velcro holster, tail cap tape switch, and filters. He was so proud, I didn’t have the heart to tell him he had about $20 worth of gear. So I just acted impressed. lol
Sad story, indeed.

I saw your forum before I decided to buy this light. I was wanting to buy one for my son’s birthday and was looking for the best possible light that he could use as a gun-light, camping light, etc. OK, I didn’t believe such a small light could be so powerful but decided I would check for myself anyway, rather than go by the word of people who can’t be bothered to try it personally. I sent for it on a Thursday night. I expected to get an email right away regarding shipping information. But that never came. After two days, I began to get suspicious and thinking I had been “had,” as they say. I was one state away from my son at the time and when I called him to wish him happy birthday, I explained that a gift was hopefully in transit, but I was not really sure at that point because I might have been scammed. The following Tuesday, which was a day after his birthday, he texts me that a package just arrived from Turkey. I answered him: “…well, stand back when you open it, but it may be the item I ordered.” Sure enough, it was the Heider CFX. He said it came fully-charged and looked like a really good light. I asked him to see whether it really was as bright as advertised. That evening, he tested and told me it was damn bright!
Neither of us have the equipment to test the exact distance but can tell you it appears damn close enough! Free Shipping was indeed, just that—total price was price quoted. They apparently shipped it out immediately upon order, for it to have arrived in five days time—they estimate seven days shipping to the US, and tell you so on their website. Only quirk is that the charger is for European outlets. But my son bought a $12.00 charger on Amazon and a pair of #18650 Lithium batteries for $14.00 and it is easy to keep it charged and ready to go so he hasn’t tested just how long it goes on one charge. I have since seen it for myself, and I can tell you the beam will blind you. (Just what you need—along with your Glock—should you confront the boogy-man in your dark hallway around midnight.) The case seems well-made, and so far has surpassed all expectations. I bought a couple of cheaper copies afterward, to compare. They are plenty bright and would normally do me just fine in most any situation. However, I can tell you, there is no comparing those or any other flashlight I have ever owned to this Heider. If you know of a better one for less, by all means, buy it. I will be ordering another of these for myself now.

I’m sure it is a bright light, but we still tend to frown on obviously exaggerated claims. Not to mention their only actual beam pictures are stolen from a review of a different light.
Also, be very careful of cheap batteries and chargers. At best they are falsely labeled, at worst they are serious fire hazards.
Since you actually have the light, could you take some pictures of it and post them? I’d be very interested in seeing actual pictures of the light from a customer.
Also, please take a picture of the front of the light showing the emitter when the light is in flood position. There’s a chance we might be able to identify the exact type of emitter used.
My understanding is that the original picture copywrite is owned by the person who took the pictures. Perhaps a friendly email to them that they are being used without permission and they should pursue a settlement from Heider for damages would be a good option.
Not a guarantee that Heider would stop the lies, but it’s possible maybe they’d actually show some real beam shots instead of using Google to find the one they think will sell the most lights.
I can understand your concern. I have had lots of cheap lights in my time and have yet to start a fire with any battery or charger. I will try to be more aware now.
I don’t have mine yet, but I will borrow my son’s and attempt to take some photos in the next few days. We live in a brightly lit neighborhood but I will do my best to look for a good place nearby and test it.

I’m not sure if I’m jumping the gun, but this guy has only just registered at the same time that we are discussing how much of s scam these torches are. Also with a ‘cynical’ username. Even if I do get to see the pics of this super torch, I’m not sure they will be real.

Welcome and unfortunately you are the exact folks these lights are advertised to. If you have never used a true thrower or lumen beast with guaranteed and real out the front lumens you would think you have the greatest light in the world with nothing to compare it against. I thought I hit the lotto and had the best thing since sliced bread on my first DX and ebay LED monsters too.
Back in 2008 I had a $40 DealExtreme with P7 LED claimed 900 lumens and was essentially direct drive. It was my first high powered light and all I had to compare against was a G3 Surefire with 200 lumens. Needless to say I was sold and was just utterly amazed until I started buying or building true Lumen mosters. FYI: I actually had that DX P7 900 Lumens light tested in a laboratory in silicon valley where a fellow buddy worked and they had a Lumens Sphere. Said light only made 450ish Lumens but down to 300 within a minute, but my eyes could never tell.

I agree w/ others as far as FALSE specifications and PHONY beam shots!
Putting the ACTUAL beam shot aside, if you look at the guy shining the light towards the mountains, even though he is a distance away, if you focus on the light in his hand you can tell it is MUCH bigger than the one advertised for sale!That is unless his hands are the size of an infant!! lol!
I have a LEGITIMATE light, similar in size[Length] w/ a slightly bigger head that will throw what they are advertizing for this gimmick!!

Did you notice if you click on their website they have a warning at the top that someone is trying to sell fake and low quality lights under there name!! I know who it is,THEM!!! LOL!
This is the first time I looked at this. I do NOT know if that warning was there when “bibihang” started this thread on January 18,2015
If you are an actual person, please don’t buy another one. We don’t like to support companies that blatantly lie and steal (pictures) to sell lights.
I guarantee you there are better options out there for less than half of what heider charges.
Since you already have a heider, why not try something else to see what you’re missing?
I’m pretty certain you aren’t really writing as who you are, but are a representative/promoter/paid reviewer of Heider. Probably just writing to get others to click on it and increase the click through connections for ranks on Google, etc.
These lights are clones of very low powered lights one is a SK68, which are, especially nowdays, easily outperformed by any number of lights on ebay, so its almost impossible to have not come across someone who has a brighter light. The beamshots have been proven to be stolen from other lights and not even produced by the “Heider”. Really, this light is a complete scam, and you can get a SK68 for 1/10th the cost, you can still run over it with a piece of heavy equipment and it will probably still run. If not, buy 10, use one of the other 9 you have, or keep trying and running them over, one will survive enough to still work, and you still saved money.
On the lottery winning likelyhood of you being a real person, but mostly for anyone drawn here to read this, try the BLF A6 group buy in another thread: you get a light that is 1/4th the price and completely blows away the Heider in output, modes, battery life, tints, and probably construction too.

Like the others said, if you are a real person, i feel bad for you being ripped-off by such a fraud, fake company like Heider feeding on the un-aware and un-educated people who do not know what they just paid way to much money for.
- If your one of the insiders posting for the Heider company, 99 % of us here know what this Heider company really is and will not fall for the guise & lies. Stealing images, copying cheaper budget lights, re-naming them, & attempting to sell them for 4 times more than what they are worth is criminal.
Yeah sounds like a shill to me, but if you’re not post some pics of you light and some beam shots.
