So I finally received these lights, nice quality and bright. I removed diffuser from one and now its really crazy bright for 1,2W - almost unbelievable for such a small power consumption. Can anyone identify brand of these six LED? Any easy mod to get even more brightness out of them?
I haven't found a use for it yet myself. It was cheap enough. I couldn't pass up the great deal GearBest had. Call me an impulse shopper, I get it....Guilty as charged...
Wow, you’re not kidding. Just received my USB lights today. Was not expecting them to arrive this quickly to New York this fast. Arrived very well packaged and all in perfect working order.
Thank you LightCastle. Next flashlight order goes to your company!
I finally got my 10400 Powerbank today (Actually it’s my second one - but this time it’s an original one that I don’t have to throw away…) - with green silicone-sleeve and fitting grteen LED Light.
If they only made that little ventilator also in green…
I like that light - the CRI isn’t great, but it’s bright and looks nice (and it’s cheap).
Ran min on a genuine 10400. Don't know how long the total run time was, but it was running for at least 24 hours. I wish there was a moonlight mode or a version that was less bright and could run much longer. Just as a backup or for longer trips.
Its probable that i got a defective item as there is quite a strong smell. I’ll avoid using it as i would not want for my power bank to get damaged. I will contact the seller and hopefully he/she sorts it out.
If anyone is interested I measured the Tint and the output from two of these handy little lamps (org. Xiaomi, one blue and one red).
They measured very close to each other although I could see a slight difference in tint.
The blue one: xc,yc= (0.414 , 0.422) = 3514K , 82 lm
The red one: xc,yc= (0.414 , 0.419) = 3498K , 78 lm
The color point corresponds to a bit greener than BIN 6B3, one could call it 6S, if this was defined in the BIN chart.
I intent to experiment with adding some red paper or a rosa filter underneath the diffuser to get rid of some of the green, but it is usable as is.
Beware, there are (unknown) tolerances on these measurements although I am more confident with the color measurements than the lumen measurements (Used instruments: Color Analyzer and Integrating Sphere).
