What are you drinking??

In Australia we still get the Coke with cane sugar. Same as Mexican Coke apparently, and thats the same as the original recipe. Or so Ive read.

willet bourbon

damn good stuff

$100 good? That the cheapest Ive found it for here.

yeah it is quite good… its not 4x as good as the $26 buffalo trace though :stuck_out_tongue:

Thats about $50 here, not sure if its the same version though. Same as the Willet you mention, how many variants of them do they make? Most would not be available here, and I would think some of the lesser ones get a flash bottle here too to mark them up.

I pay $52-60 for my No12 Dickel too, the No8 I can find for $44-50.

And local moonshine…

theres a number of variations… this is the one i am drinking

I paid $75 or so IIRC

Thats the one I found here, $100-140 in the few places I found that at one point had it, most are sold out.

everything is more is Australia? is that the exchange rate? or maybe taxes?

All of the above. Weve had it good lately, our dollar was worth more than the US$ or close to equal for a couple of years there, but its not normal its usually around mid US$0.70’s.

Well most of Europe anyway.

update:

right now I am drinking ginger beer and kraken spiced rum

not my typical drink but its what the wife mixed up tonight.

pretty tasty

Batemans Victory ale. Yummy

Although if it were earlier I might move on to kraken, love that spiced rum

Drambuie on the rocks…

Still a great thread! In the meantime my son is 4 and a half years old, and I'm having another Cherry Coke, the label indeed mentions just sugar, no HFCS:

coffee with a little bit of milk. extra dark roasted coffee, my favorite roast!

It's important to put the milk in the cup/mug first, then pour the coffee into it. Tastes much better.

I think it has to do with the milk warming slightly slower if you pour your hot coffee into the cold milk, instead of pouring milk into a full cup/mug of hot coffee.

i think I’ve tried that, and that i couldn’t really taste any difference.

Bubble tea anyone?
