You still claim this is a 590nm emitter — but the picture still shows the “warm white” color people have been complaining about getting for months.
Can you verify this is now available with a 590nm emitter?
That’s an “amber” color, slightly more orange than yellow: http://science-edu.larc.nasa.gov/EDDOCS/images/Erb/Yellow_Spectrum.jpg

You do sell the emitter as a separate item:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/2119706-cree-xp-e-580-590nm-amber-led-emitter-on-16mm-base

Look at the emitter in the flashlight — does it have that same red-orange color? If so it’s what you claim to sell. If the emitter in the flashlight looks yellowish, then it’s the “warm white” you show in the pictures.

Please fix this.
If I buy it and you send me a warm white, will you pay the return shipping cost as your error?
I want what you advertise here.

Great! to repeat my other question:

If I buy it and you send me a warm white, will you pay the return shipping cost as your error?
and about the advertised flashlight:

Which specific 590nm emitter is used?
Cree XPE? (green square backing)
Cree XPE2? (white square backingbackground)
Some other kind of LED? (could be round instead of square)?

P.S. — I ask about what specific 590nm emitter
because your page mistakenly claims the light uses an XPG Cree emitter in 590nm
There is no such thing. That does not exist. It isn’t real.
Cree does not make the XPG emitter in amber (or any other single color) — only three kinds of white:

Good Day Hank,

I think it would be Far faster and efficient to teach them English (including comprehension and everyday usage).

Best Regards,

George

Or learn Chinese.

Great suggestion!!

Yeah, I think the long term solution to these headaches is to take a month or two to learn their language, haha. :stuck_out_tongue:

They speak English, 1500 employees, based in the U.S.
Maybe it’s time we stopped screwing around with all the China stuff. I know I have had enough.

Oh, I recognize the game. US corporations play it all the time — ever notice how someone comes out to the press after a toxic spill and says things like “I would like to reassure you that X is drinkable” (and the press just nods and smiles, instead of saying “Well, we would like that too, but we all know you can’t reassure us of that, however much you’d like to). Not to mention the person coming out is blissfully ignorant of anything at all about the subject, having been hired last week and kept in a barrel until pushed out to respond to the questions.

It’s a game businesses play. Part of the fun is keeping the play going.

Sometimes there are competitions — like, I’ve been testing whether any of the big suppliers have anyone who admits to understanding the words “solid pill” and responds to questions about that.

I do this with the “We’re from Microsoft and want to help you” phone calls from Bangladesh, too, if time allows.

Hey, I didn’t have quite enough hobbies.

Y’all feel free to join in, or post suggestions of good questions to ask.

Every time I have any problem with what Fast Buck has sent, I state that "it works for about 10-17 minutes that it turns it self off" Then I send it back. No one at FT is going to sit around for 20 minutes and see if it does or not. Ill even take a picture of it on and then one of it off after 20 mins . But I am int the US ant we can return it easily.
