Lol, I was just on my way to post that. Watch the prime day deals, they are adding different items every few minutes. I’ve seen eneloops and Nitecore D4 chargers on sale today.
I think some people are adding everything to their carts once it’s available… I missed several deals because it has been fully claimed before I could even think about the price…
I decided to "Work from home" today (shirk from home?!), so that I could keep an eye on the deals as they are released.
A couple of weeks ago I missed out on a Lightening deal for a Leatherman Charge TTi reduced to £95, then quickly increased up to about £150 where it has stayed. This was intended to replace my LM Wave.
I've seen a few Leatherman tools and some other EDC stuff today, but nothing fantastic yet.
So far what has passed: Leatherman Raptor, Leatherman Charge ALX, Vic Spartan (91mm Red), Vic Rescue Tool (111mm Yellow).
Also there was some weird Hammer-based multitool (sold by a 3rd party, cheap tat, completely overpriced).
And this-morning two "Foxnovo" brand Nitecore clones - a 4-bay and an 8-bay multi-chemistry chargers. These too were massively overpriced even after reduction. Better off to buy an original Nitecore or XTAR for half the cost!
I found this Rechargeable Pocket Flashlight that is 600 lumens for $35.99 it includes a Rechargeable Battery and Charger. Looks like a good deal and it"s on sale.
Received some of the 12W Thorfire LED Bulbs deal alerted in the following posts:
The box they come in is quite nice. Some of the wording on it is fun to read. The bulbs appear to be quite well made. Apparently, these are the lowest of the line as the 80 CRI option is the lowest available. There is 85, 90, and 95 CRI options also available. The tint is supposed to be just pure white, but the tint appears slightly green to me. Whatever the tint is, I don’t like it. My wife doesn’t like it at all and she loves cool tints. There is a short delay before the bulb lights up. At this moment, I regret the purchase. Maybe I’m just out of sorts from the flu virus that I’m shaking the last remnants of off. I give the bulbs a day or two more to grow on me.
EDIT: Pulled off the bulb. Tint is much better, but light dispersion is now just LED mule. Kind of like the heat sink. Seems to have some heft. Its anodized to a pretty cool color (better than the product pics). The color reminds me of pewter. Seems like it could be turned into a neat flashlight. The LED self is pressed in to the finned body. Trying to get it off without scratching the finish. The LED has thermal glue (unlike the product picture below).

Appears that way to me, but don’t go by my word alone. I’m not a good judge of CRI and tint. I think they may be worth the price for parts. Still trying to get one apart while watching TV.
