I get the convoy s2+ today, but the goods which have been not as description. Not 4c tint and package unlike the photo in your web.

Hi Tinn.

May I know your order number? I have send the PM to you. Please kindly check it. We would solve this issue for you soon. Thank you.

That’s scary! I’ve been waiting a few weeks for an order, and I dare not make an account or give them any more information just so I can maybe get better tracking information.

I received my Convoy C8 two days ago. The smooth reflector is full of imperfections. Not very happy with it.

Gearbest? I got the Sunwayman C22 from them on a group buy. One mode was defective but I think I was lucky after reading about all the other defective ones.

I gave em another chance. I ordered the Lumintop Tool AAA light. After waiting too many days in the processing mode I contacted them and they said it would be another 2 weeks before they could get them! So I complained and asked for a refund. Immediately they said it was somehow miraculously shipped! Huh? Do I believe that to be true or are they just leading me on? It has been 18 days since then and nothing. I ordered a product from Banggood and received it in 10 days!

I’ll just use Banggood from now on. Or Mountain Electronics. Or Amazon. Live and learn.

Hi saypat, sorry if we have make you upset.

for the stocking issues, as we have many departments and thousands of products, so our related staff check the stocking via the company’s stocking system, but sometimes it will have a delayed updating information compared to the real situation, beg your udnerstanding.
GearBest can’t be perfect, so do other places too, every places has its disadvatanges and advantages, we will respect you to choose any place to make orders, and welcome you anytime too.

I received my Lumintop Tool today. 18 days, well within what they quoted me. They have good communication, at least they are trying to resolve issues it appears. Cannot fault them there. Perhaps I have become very impatient in this fast paced world :stuck_out_tongue:

Ordered may 28th an Opus C3100 V2.2 Charger and notified Gearbest of defective item right when I received it.

More info:
Opus C3100 V2.2
The #4 channel is broken and doesn’t work. Possibly other channels are defective as well, 1-3 charges 700mA when I set to 500mA.
-Output is very very low, not more than 50mA. It doesn’t charge.
Voltage reading is off by/+ 0.3V
-Internal resistance reading always show higher than other bays.
-It overcharges NiMh batteries causing them to overheat
-Capacity reading is wrong with Li-ion & NiMh batteries.

First they offered $20 partial refund, then I went to paypal to open a case and they offered $15. The case has been escalated to a claim and now they offer $12. Maybe if I win the case they will offer me $5. What a joke. They asked me in 5 different occasions for detailed info & pictures of the problem and order number.

I’m sick of sending the same links and description to them but they just keep asking. “Would you like to close the paypal case and please tell us what’s the problem with your item? Please rest assured we are willing to help you in a professional and friendly manner.” Yeah sure.

They even waited to the very last day to answer in paypal. This is the reason I’m posting this here. If they handled this in a “professional manner” I wouldn’t be mad at all. It’s not gearbest fault for the production of a faulty item, but it’s their responsibility to communicate with the costumer in prompt way.

Gearbest if you see this please don’t ask me again for PM my order number, description and pictures of my defective charger, because I already did, go check your inbox.

I have made 3 orders with Gearbest in the last 2 weeks. I have a feeling I may have to polish the PayPal hammer. Hope not.

My two Xiaomi 10000mAh usb power banks arrived this morning. Ordered 6th July, shipped Swedish Post on 8th July, with tracking still saying “2015-07-09 16:45, The shipment item is under transportation, Item received for processing”.

Xiaomi’s website shows them to be genuine products, and they were a steal at $12 iirc. I’m a happy bunny.

Yeah Swedish tracking seems useless, all my orders say the same, ordered around the same time as you.

Hi will34,

I‘m really sorry if bring you any trouble, as the language barrier and some technical issues, so sometimes our cs can’t understand it very well, beg your patience and tolerance for our cs.

I ordered 2 pair of these AWT 40A 2600 mAh cells: http://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_178120.html. For some silly reason, I didn't read the fine print, or the posted questions. I tested all 4 cells and all are real capacity between 1600 and 1700 mAh, while AWT 35A 2500 mAh cells I bought from F.T. tested just over 2400 mAh each.

Again, GearBest - you advertise these as "AWT Style", what does that mean? The truth is they are fake AWT's, not "AWT Style", but "AWT Fakes".

GearBest - your deceitful advertising has been taken to new levels.

Look at this under $5 light: http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_194279.html. You advertise it with AR lens and NEUTRAL tint, neither which is true, obviously - nothing under $5 will have an AR lens or Neutral tint LED. So, why do you make these obvious deceitful claims? Lies and more lies sell.

Almost all your Sharp Eagle ads are full of clear and obvious lies - why? Because lies sell - when you state a product has what the customer prefers, you expect it to sell more. Lies, lies, and more lies - it's a common theme now across your site. Comparing the same exact advertised products in competitive retailers, I can't find the same outrageous claims - check out Sharp Eagle ads on BangGood.

I guess I'm too gullible for something that sounds like a good deal, but the truth always prevails - they are deals too good to be true... I am backing off from any purchases, or recommending anything from GearBest for a while until I can see some sign, some hope, that GearBest becomes a little more, just a tad more, honest.

Here's a response I got in an email from GearBest to a "Question" I submitted. This is funny - they want me to submit a review I know will be not posted? I've submitted polite, well worded reviews of 3 stars or less and more cons than pros and they always get ignored.

GearBest just shipped me a real Convoy S2+ after I got a fake a few weeks ago. The new one is indeed real. I will continue to buy from there because of their service. Yes, getting the correct one first would have been ideal but this is a perfectly acceptable solution for me.

Free coupon code for everyone above. It seems like GB only offers points for positive reviews. Though Albert didn't directly answer my question, he's making it clearer about why they don't publish negative reviews, even though they are researched and more honest than published ones.

I would think/hope BLF treats this unfair treatment by a vendor accordingly. I don't see other vendors doing this.

Oh points are only offered for positive reviews??? Never knew this. I’ve only bothered so far to make reviews on items I buy because I believe it will help people make a purchase or not make it but definetely not to earn 10 points.

Well, many of the pnts from these vendors are worthless - I don't use them, too many conditions, etc. I submit reviews for the same reason you do, and sure is aggravating when you put in all that time and effort for them to be ignored, specially with GearBest's inflated deceptive product specs and their lack of response to fix them up - the reviews I submit cover those issues. Worst of the worst...

Ive had 1 totally negative review that has been posted on the website. It was not removed. I don’t think they remove negative ratings.

Where? I'd love to see it. I've submitted several unposted reviews on GB, and all mine get posted on FT and BG. I never saw a negative review removed, but I don't see them posted, and others are saying the same exact thing. Maybe it's only for the products they are obviously listing inflated specs about?

Look at this Sharp Eagle light listed on GB and TMART:

http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_194279.html

http://www.tmart.com/SHARP-EAGLE-ZQ-SH-05-CREE-XPE-3-Mode-400-600LM-Mini-Rechargeable-Aluminum-Flashlight-with-IPX5-Gray-Black_p329621.html

I wouldn't consider TMART one of the more reputable vendors around, but they are not making up advanced specs on this light, while GB does.
