Bare BLF A6 Interest List (coupon now public)

1 x 1A and 1 x 3D -whit engraving. And if the price is around the same.

I’m in for 2. A 3D and a 5A.

Noted.

Two, 1A and 3D, thanks ToyKeeper.

I'll take one of each.

1 x 1A

1 x 3D

1 x 5A

Thanks

I know the specs should be the same but does this also come with the deep carry clip, nice lanyard and in the BLF gift box? I’m hoping for the BLF engraving too but the specs, accessories and gift box are the critical ones for me. If those things are part of the deal and the price are the same count me in for one in 3D. Thanks! This light looks really good naked.

I’m gonna go ahead and be the one who predicts there will be no possibility of engraving this light.

One in the 3D will be fine.
Thanks

I’ll take (2) 1A’s please!

I bet you are right, the engraving on the anodized light is just the removal of the anodization in that spot. The laser power required to etch bare metal enough to be visible is much higher.

Yeah I have a feeling you’re right about that. That’s not a deal breaker for me just a nice-to-have. As long as they are in gift boxes with all the same goodies as the anodized version can I get my 1 3D with serial #10? That leads me to another question. How will they be putting the serial numbers on these lights?

Another one :-) , will the clip be bare too?

The very same....just no ano :)

Should be but Neal is checking on that to be sure. Actually with engraving a coating is applied and where the laser burns is where that coating becomes etched into the metal.

I don't think so. TK's wand is a bit overworked. LOL

I want one 3D

without any characters, with SS clip and grey lanyard

You can throw me on the list for a 3D, although I am really more interested in an empty host.

1 3D please

Two for me. Both 3D.

Nice, how long do we have to decide? I’ll put myself down for a 5A, I was hoping to maybe get a 3D and 5A tint here to compare before deciding, but my order has still not shipped :’(

Put me down for one please, I cannot resist the need to polish this to a mirror finish.

Sapphire has zero to do with aluminum. Aluminum Oxide is the stuff they use for sandpaper, very tough, and the “rust” aluminum produces. All things disintegrate, the question is how many hundreds or thousands of years it takes to do so. Highway Signage is made from Aluminum. Ever see a highway sign disintegrate? They’re in all weather, exposed to the very worst nature has to offer, and they are there til the paint is worn and faded, the kids are done shooting them, and still, they stand, paying homage to a rule or a warning that once was. So, the simple answer, not in our lifetime. Not flaming or attacking, just meaning to inform.

And I will engrave my own, thank you. I might even clear anodize it. Just for fun.

Bare Aluminum, gotta love it!

Still airworthy after 70 years or more
