FKN insanity !
Local retailers dont get to rip us a new one , so they want the Gov to FK us over ..
They want overseas retailers to collect GST - Good luck with that one Commies ...
Think about it , why did we bother with so many wars about freedom , and now we are just giving freedom away for nothing !
I guess things do change !
Perhaps we should start a campaign to avoid certain Traitorous retail outlets ..
I still fondly remember 500 to 1000% mark ups before the internet ...
Aaaah the good old days you got to rip off locals big time .

For those that have trouble soldering like I did stumbled upon solder flux in a syringe at Jaycar about 12 months ago. This product transformed my soldering overnight. Lately it appears to have gone of so decided to purchase another syringe full. Bugger, Jaycar dont carry it anymore. Alltronics was just down the road so decided to pay them a visit. Yep they have it and though the picture is different to Jaycars the item itself is identical. A quick test and it works perfectly.
I only mention this as I guess I'm not the only one that has trouble soldering. The other thing that helped immensely was to change the pointy tip with a chisel tip on the soldering iron. This change alone made a massive difference in the ability for the iron to hold heat and solder larger items.
Link to solder flux.

U dont use resin cored solder ?
Just depends on what your soldering as well ..
Solder does not take well to oxidized surfaces , so you need to clean the surface ( A good flux can do that - but they are evil ) .
The other way is to manually clean the surface ( sharp knife or something - file perhaps )
If you need strength - silver solder ( will need flux for silver solder )
If you need resin cored solder - I have some ..

@ old4570. Yes I've always used resin solder of different varieties. The flux and the bigger tip were like the missing ingredients that made it work.

I’ve bought a few of the Nitecore Tube lights for around AU$8-9 each…
Planning on keeping one and using the rest as partial Xmas gifts along with some other stuff.

Ebay seller " supersports600" currently has a discount on 4 x LG 18650 MH1 3200mAh batteries.
Also has reasonable prices on the 30Q's & a few other cells.
HIGHLY recommend that seller, use him a lot
