very strange behavior BANGGOOD

Ok. Usually i hate all those threads about fake here fake there, made always by the same persons etc… I’ve never complained about china resellers, because i think most of the responsibility goes to the buyer who has to know any possible implications and take them into account

Anyway i wanted to share my experience with tonight’s SNAP UP time deals on BANGGOOD, just because i think you can lose but you have to have the chance to play fair…

Yesterday evening I left my pc in standby with all the pages loaded up and ready for tonight’s snap up deals
So tonight at 3.56AM i woke (to be honest i almost didn’t slept knowing i had to woke earlier) and refreshed all the deal pages, early logged on Banggood to make sure cookies and stuff where not expired and logged also on my Paypal account to speed up things. Also i made sure nothing was downloading something on backround (like that damned Win10 always updating)
Good to go. waited for the last seconds …bang clicked on the deal…yes i did it! wait what’s that message?? Asking for my address??
I bhought hondreds of dollar of stuff on banggod, always with the same unique addres, which is my default one…and never asked for delivery confirmations or something….grrrr, so i headed to the profile page for my deliveries address book, anddddd……

Banggood site hanging….nooooooo………tried with another browser….also the same….This could not be possible….even if i knew it would happen…because i know how this promo-commercial stuff works….

I said, maybe it’s me, i should try if the rest of the world keeps reaching BG site… so i tried with an asian proxy, african proxy, U.S. proxy…. none of them reached BG. I’ve tried with my phone HSDPA 3G net, and still nothing 502 bad database error.

I said, well, at least this will block any other buying so we all start again at the same time. Please note that the last time i refreshed the deal page only 5PCS were gone and still 45available
4.15AM So i kept hammering the site until I got in…and then looked at my address book, there were no addresses at all, not anymore… good move banggood. I started compiling my address again! saved as my default one. Site showing again NO ADDRESSES at all, Once again, compiled and saved… still nothing. Site seemed acting weird.
Tried also by phone’s 3G

4.22AM Finally the site turned back to what seemed a normal behavior, snap up page showed 12 pcs sold 38left, good…. clicked on the RUSH to BUY button…. “SOrry the the deal sold out” … wtf!

Also note, than at the first attempt when in the end the site acted normally again, i tryed clicking on every deal they where still available (page refreshed), but guess what? everything switched to “sold out”

4.37AM off to bed again.

6.00AM 2nd try. Same procedure as before, eveything loaded and freshly logged. 50PCS available. 6.00.01 clicked on RUSH TO BUY button==> Sorry Sold out, hummmm…. since if i should trust what happened with the same item (different color) in the earlier deal the stock ended in about 30 min, this couldn’t be lasted just 1 second. Also considering there where (if we think BG numbers are true) 50 LESS persons trying to buy it.

DISAPPOINTED, really

7.00AM another deal. Again. as before, but i tryied with 2 gadgets, and guess what?? the first i was lucky, but i got redirected on Paypal page to puy, and when i confirmed the payment banggood site come loaded again saying “sorry the item was sold out” LOL!

I expected this subterfuges from other sites, but sincerely not from banggood, as i had always good experiences with it, but not this time, this time it made me mad, especially because i left a ton of sleep hours i could have saved for knowing that the site was not acting fair at all.

You got banged  but the important thing is, They are the professionals!!!

They all seem to have some super duper limited availability epic sale at one time or another. Rarely do they work properly with the increased traffic. I’ve learned just to ignore these ‘deals’ and let yall deal with the stress & aggravation. I’ll pay a few extra bucks to avoid the hassle and sleep loss. :zipper_mouth_face:

There’s a different flow for their snap-up deals, so they actually posted a set of rules for the snap-up deals.

I got burnt the same way… I was in time for a blitzwolf charger.
Rule #1. Log in or sign up and ensure the shipping address set as default in your account.

I think I’ll skip the rest of the sale. It’s not worth the headache.

I’ve tried numerous times to participate in this types of things, but the way I see it is there’s very little chance of ever getting something from one of these. I tried again since my kid wanted one of the RC cars. Of course, I didn’t even come close. I did the same thing - checked my address, prelogged in to Paypal, etc… I didn’t lose access to the site so at least there’s that! I figure that being in the states, there’s a disadvantage. I have no idea how popular these sites are in China, but I’d be willing to guess it’s enough to make my chances go from very slim - to none.

It would be nice to see a sale like this broken down into regions: Asia, North America, etc. It’d be nice to see a company do it that way for a change…might just even the playing field a little….

Regarding BG, my trust goes mainly to our member M4D M4X, if i need something which is not supercheap. I also think Dale it’s a good contact.

yeah like 0 to 1 item… when stated more than 10.

I’ll keep hammering on every sale…. except RC toys  from now on when I’m on my PC at work… just for the sake of statistics

they bang you good

That’s For Sure!

Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn’t mean it
I just want you banged for good
Whenever I’m wrong just tell me the song and I’ll sing it
You’ll be right and understood ……

Kind of crap though…

I already know that there would be some problems with the Banggood-site when the sale starts. I just didn’t believe it would be like this!
Thankfully I already placed the Olight Javelot into my shopping basket, otherwise I probably would’ve missed that one too…
I’ve been trying to get 2 Ramblers in for ages and site informs they’ve been added to my basket and when I select the basket, it’s empty! J)
They could sell the stuff for 10 cents, if the site works like this!
Banggood has been my favorite seller for a long time, but handling this sale, really makes me want to search for alternatives…

All aboard the Bangedgood Bus.

The funniest “sale” is in the “app” section… items that are discounted on their mobile app.

I just tried it for a very long time and… the entire BG app won’t load! it just times out …

what a joke.

LOL if you try blitzwolf 40W white now, you can’t even click on the RUSH TO BUY BUTTON….lol and even click to change the AU plug!

and i’m using a different pc and 2 different browsers…

funny things is that the simulate someone is buying it…i see 2 pieces gone

I was told on the Quadcopter at 4AM our time  there have been 10.000+ clicks

i am sure we are not the only people on this planet skipping sleep / work / life for hunting a deal

i snapped the car charger from blitzwolf some days ago…
i did EXACTLY how mentioned below in the rules!

sure but, i added to my cart a blitzwolf 5 port and the message told me it has been added, obviously loading the cart, shows no Blitzwolf item…. .

and i guess it could be true for a product that has been discounted from 1300$ to 9.90 but from a product from 13.xx to almost 10, in the EU version i don’t think there could have been billillions of clicks, also with 50pcs availability this is more true.

Also everything could be masked saying that someone in a part of the world arrived before you, this as always been said for sales like that, but we cannot always be the last one, statistically….

I usually do not even try but it was exactly because you were able to get the car charger that i tried to partecipate….Also bare with me i come with an experience of an MH20 won from banggood here on this forum, on july, never arrived, and untracked.

Nevermind i do not want to put you M4D M4X into this, i have to be clear on this, in any way. And I’m not “hating” i was just referring a customer point of view.

NB: M4D M4X now you have to match the 4.99 :stuck_out_tongue: price tag for your 24W blitzwolf, i’m more interested in the 5 port, but i guess i could step in if i cannot find a deal for the 40W one…. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Apparently the blitzwolf charger is available in white and black within the mobile app! no quantity restrictions, same price, no hassle. The tricky part would be loading up the app and the product site… I am trying to get to the item and keep getting a time out :frowning:

Thanks, it worked, but it took me 35 minutes.
And i think i’ve lost my 10% first app purchase coupon since it was not possible to redeem it

banggood site is unreachable now for me… error 500

It was the same for me.
I could add charger to the cart but when I tried PayPal it said that item is out of stock. And I thought I was fast enough…
Once I refresh deal page I saw that 40 pcs are still available. On my second try I couldn’t even add item to the cart.
Then I’ve given up, for me that’s too much hassle for a dollar or two discount.
Now, I cant even login to my account. Guess I have to wait until sale is over to be able to login and buy products :stuck_out_tongue:

Side note to whoever wants to buy with the “app prices” :

load the app, if you manage to do it
Than look for the item you want,
when the item is in the list of the result of the search or anyway when you se its thumbnail, just click on the tiny cart of the square that encloses the thumbnail.
Than, if you wish you should be able to complete the payment via PC browser and avoid other issues reaching you cart and loggin into paypal, which i find to fail 2 times out of 3.
