The Blue is actually lighter than I expected, but the shade is still very nice
I can confirm the switches have changed, for the better, much easier to click in on the blue one

The tailcap fit is improved compared to the past, especially when you look at a late production grey version, although this could be because the blue one is the only I got direct from Simon

I’m holding out for blue 18350 with clips that would rock. Note a ReyLight ti clip works well on 18350 convoys using M2 nuts and bolts.
Ordered 4x Blue ones direct from Simon 23.August, and the lights is still in China. 
Simon has always shipped the lights I have got from him fast, but not this time. And I ordered before the % offer and E-pack, so I had to pay full price, and got slow slow shipping.

The steel button is not waterproof. Spalsh resistant at best. Beauty comes I at a price…

Yep. S2+ shorty 18350 , ONE in red and ONE blue, each with the 7135*4 driver and deep carry clips in an epacket. TAKE MY MONEY PLEASE SIMON.
I have sent pm to Simon on Aliexpress and he has told me blue 18350 tubes are in the making!
Did he say anything about making Red ones? - For my lover?

LOL… He is working on shorty tubes for both the blue and red S2+. The last he told me, he was still working with the manufacturer on the deep carry clips. Unlike some other manufacturers who will not be named, he won’t just make them and sell them regardless of quality to fill an order. Simon doesn’t mess around with quality. He needs to know first that it can not just be done… but be done properly. The short tubes are a go. The clips… we shall see.

Just received my blue s2+ host from banggood. First impressions, it’s ok:
The fit and finish isn’t nearly as flawless as the red s2+ complete light I got from gearbest. The threads are slightly lose, the tailcap and ‘stainless steel’ button are slightly dinged up. By no means is there anything majorly wrong with the host, it’s just that the red s2+ I purchased from gearbest is literally flawless in comparison. Which seems a bit ironic since a lot of people reported non-genuine convoy’s from gearbest…
I recently got a S2+ blue from Simon aliexpress store, 4*7135 with T6-4C tint; also at the same time I got a NEW Convoy C8 AK47 7135*8 T6-4C SMO from banggood 9.9 event sale. Overall I am VERY happy with the quality of Convoy workmanship, much better than my crappy Solarstorm SC02 which die after a week due to bad switch. Terribad.
But for some reason, the S2+ blue tint is more yellow/amber than the C8 one, although they are all T6-4C ? what happened btw ? I know there should be a slight variance between each LED but the different in tint is huge. Image is taken at 5200K white balance. Love the tint color from C8 but also love the new metal switch as well.
