Lesson learned with Banggood and China stuff

I just had a special experience with (the customer support of) Banggood. After I finally received my delivery after weeks, the ordered part turned out to be absolutely useless. I ordered a so-called tactical, foldable forehand grip for a picantinny rail. See also the following link.

http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-20mm-Foldable-AK-Tactical-Foregrip-Fore-Grip-for-Picatinny-Weaver-Rail-Mount-p-53828.html

In the photos, the article looks ok. But neither it fits well on the Picatinny rail nor can be locked in the vertical position. So, lesson learned, what costs nothing is worth nothing. Don't waste your money.

Of course, the CS from Banggood denied that something is wrong with the item. Maybe they are right and it is just a piece of cheap China rubbish.

There are products you might want to buy overseas and there are products better suited for local sourcing. When it comes to flashlights, I have picked Chinese dealers so far and everything worked out.

For more technical items or products that are more relevant to applications of safety (ie weapons, sport, load bearing items, car parts) I would honestly source them locally, ie USA or European country.

note:
I bought a pressure switch once from a Chinese website and everything was fine.

I thought Neal the ā€œprofessionalā€ would handle this profesionally

I have to apologize to the customer service and banggood. Actually I found out how to fix the grip in the horizontal position. The part is so badly processed that it jammed. Anyway, my comment was too harsh. But the grip is still no very useable ā€“ I gave it definitely to my son for his NERF plastic gun.

So, looks like I will order more of this cheap China stuff and sometimes I will happy, sometimes not. It's like an addiction or a game.

Realtree,
This thread reminds me why Iā€™d like to visit Switzerland someday. If I ever do visit, Iā€™ll be sure to be extremely respectful to the ladies.

hahaha Jubeldum
and donā€™t forget Sak and chocolate

Nerf guns have picantinny rails now? :open_mouth:

Just the Tactical models, I think they are banned in the US.
