I’ve been bugging FT support a shipment of drivers (only, nothing else) that has been stuck and Origin Post in Shenzen and they finally told me on a ticket that their package got returned to them!!
I have several other packages from BG that appear to be in exactly the same status, but different shipping dates, and I’m wondering if maybe this is happening more than just to me???
Odd… I just escalated a ticket to FT support this morning because of a similar issue… Shipped Sept. 02, package has been held up at the same “Origin Post” status since Sept. 08.
Only some 110V drivers, some o-rings, and some thermal paste.
4 30Q's ordered from BG - same exact thing happened - they got returned to BG, BG gave me a full PP refund with no hesitation. Not good I didn't get them of course, but the price dropped since then anyway - I ordered qty 2 right away .
I had a shipment of a few trust fire flame 14500s get returned to GearBest a few months ago. Never thought to open a ticket though. Mine were just never brought to the house by the postman or he didn’t leave a notice.
Response back from FT this morning, same thing here:
“Sorry for the wait.
As we checked with our shipper, they confirmed your package was returned back from China custom due to it does not pass the security check.
But there is no any sensitive items in your order,we don’t know why it was rejected.
We have arranged to resent it to you again, please kindly be patient to wait for it,you can keep tracking it few days later with original tracking number. Thanks for your understanding.”
FYI: FastTech had a very prompt and professional turnaround on this. My parcel was promptly re-shipped and showed up in the tracking system the day after they discovered the issue. The parcel arrived at the San Francisco shipping center, and departed late last night, so it’s finally on its way here! 8)
Same thing here. A order of odds and ends no batteries was returned to shipper.
I have`nt been able to contact them because their mail server seems to be borked
Parcel is at my local Post Office now, awaiting pickup, so I’ll have it on hand later this afternoon. Nine days from my initial inquiry via the FT support dept to get the re-shipment into my hands… 8)
The customs over there has adopted a new polity. Each day one of the guys is blindfolded and he picks up any pacakges he can grab at random and they are rejected. They felt this was the most fair way to reject a certain percentage, to meet government standards.
Next mothe they are thinking of filling giant Piñatas and smacking them with baseball bats and sending packages as "damaged in shipping", just for fun.
