gorann. you accuse American members here of being self centered. the truth is that you yourself are being extremely judgmental and self righteous in making those accusations. when someone basically says, "stop crying you bunch of babies," that's just another way of saying, "i've had it worse, and i don't cry, so you shouldn't cry either." but what do you know about the lives of the other members here? anything? do you think all Americans are rich and arrogant and self centered? please stop with your presumptuous and judgmental nonsense.
as for my previous post, i was trying to provide a possible explanation why some of the member responses were so harshly anti-DD. my personal view is that it's brted's photo and if he doesn't care, i don't care either.
I think Semur, Summer, and Brted are all the same person and that the yard (and house) in question were paid for with DinoDirect points, coupons, discounts, gifts and salary.
I'm glad we've finally cleared the air. I know I feel better :)
I love how people that know little about America seem obsessed with labeling a whole damn country based entirely on what they read in the news. So some jackoffs got their panties in a wad about Clinton. You think the rest of us 300 million give a half fart?
Eventually the USA did not re-elect Clinton, but went the route of choosing Bush who soon became hated by many. Why the states voted him up is still beyond me, i can only guess they wanted a radical change...
Gorann, ignorance is a burden for some but apparently it's not a burden for you. You seem to quite enjoy it.
I read that corruption is a problem in the public secton there in Croatia so maybe dishonesty on the part of DD is nothing new for you. We expect more however.
Do American's (per capita) consume any more chocolate than Croatians? Nestle is a Swiss company as far as I know. I'm sure there are no Croatian companies involved only because there aren't many Croatian companies.
I don't think you really know what you are talking about to put it mildly.
I think you did okay until you started attacking the people who are pointing out the shortcomings of Dino (not to mention their countries and political system, which you are ignorant of: Clinton was impeached and found guilty of lying under oath, not for having an affair), which is what this entire subforum and this thread is all about. Here are the facts: Dino used pictures without permission for their website. Dino used beamshots of the wrong lights. One is stealing, the other is fraud. They are both illegal. And while it may not be a big deal to you, it is a *terrible* way to run a business. It is not whining to point this out or to say that it is wrong. Other sellers follow a higher code of conduct, even places like DX, so it isn't too much to expect Dino to do the same.
Thanks for the heads up. Did not knew that. So Al Gore never wins it seems. Not that i liked him better or anything... Obama kinda looked a "brighter" choice at the time. XD
That's a bit weird that a president can't be elected over and over if people liked him. I guess it is a fail safe feature. :)
It wasn't always the case. During World War II President Roosevelt was elected 3 times and the law was changed after that. Generally, change is good as even a "good" official can be a little too comfortable in power. We generally tend to go back and forth between the parties that are in power. It's a moderating effect.
All joking aside, I would hope that at minimum sellers would acknowledge the owner of the photo (if known) and remove photos as requested by the owner. For me it's all about respect and trust... DD needs to work on that.... Nutz
I wish most of our electors would see it that way. We basicly vote out clown after clown. Ali Baba' and the 40 thieves would probably be more honest in a long run. We excell at electing time proven liars. :/
Election time in my country is behind the door. Not even bothering to go voting since the candidates are all toilet flush worthy. :/ One thing you Americans have (at least many do) is the integrity to stay by your president even if he does something not relally in line with the population toughts. (very apparent during Bush's mandate)
American presidents are limited to a maximum of 2 terms in office, which made him ineligible for reelection. Too bad, I liked him more than either his predecessor or successor.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected twice before WWII (in 1932 and 1936) and twice during WWII (in 1940 and 1944) for a total of 4 times... But who's counting? ;)
They are odd and I don't necessarily agree with them for most offices where they've added those laws but I actually agree with it for the Presidency. Can you imagine 4 years of Bush if for some reason he had the votes?
I think change it what is needed in that office continuously. If a state has a good governor and they want to elect him over and over ...I say go for it.
