Yes, my grey S2 has 3x7135 chips with a 10%low, 40%med and 100@high settings. If I follow you correctly, the 5%low on 1x7135 would be 1/6(?) of the low in my grey s2? If so, then that’s quality light with very looooong runtime. And I would definitely place my order. :party:

I’m not sure if Simon will do that, but you could ask.
You could also order a driver from RMM with whatever specs you want. For example, his FET+7135 driver provides the low low and long runtime, but it also gives the benefits of really high high modes. Or you could ask him for a 1x7135 with STAR and custom levels. Or whatever.

Just got a reply from Simon. He can do a 1x7135, 4C version for me with 5%low-30%med-100%high modes. That will give me around 4-5lumens on low. Not the low low that I want but it will already be useful to me. I will just use my quark when I need moonlight mode.
You can also reflash the driver, to tweak it to your heart’s content. 
Simon has both the blue and red short tubes available in his store now for $2.95 each Minimum quantity listed as two but yo ucan message him and mix and match and usually work out whatever you want. Simon is really easy going about that stuff. I’ll add this to the OP as well. Enjoy!

He will have no problem mixing and matching them for you. He’s still working out details with the factory but deep carry clips are in the works for these too. We’re in discussion about an “ultimate edition” for the S2+ with both short and standard tubes and a deep carry clip in all three of the new colors. Oops… Did I say three? 0:) More info tomorrow. Way past bedtime for me.

Yeah I’m guessing he’s doing just fine with sales of the blue one. I have two myself. Just wait until the new deep carry pocket clip comes out! We were going over the design last night. I’d been trying to explain how\where I though it should attach when I came across a post from tristanxoxo in the S2 pocket clip thread showing that the Roche F6 pocket clip fit very well on the S2. Tip of the hat there good sir. Simon of course had one on hand so we went back and forth a bit. Attachment will be just like the F6 clip shown below but doing a backbend and flipping back around similar to the clips on the BLF A6 but better. Notice what else it also fits on???

I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with. So the clip will be a deep carry? It would be great if there was a relief cut for the clip in new versions of the Convoys. Also, if these were sold separately, I’m sure Simon would sell quite a few.
Any ideas when the clip should be available? I’m about to order a red one with 18350 tube, and I don’t know if I should wait for the clip or not.
Since you are throwing ideas for Simon, I think he should make pill for triple conversion. And purple one would be awesome!
