Well they did offer a replacement which I refused, specially after taking a look as to how they treat their customers. I mean, how can someone claim an item as OOS but still be selling on site. They are basically taking money from gullible customers without any responsibility.
The best part is their support rules seem to be different too. One of my friends, who had ordered the same item, got an offer to ship it from another warehouse whereas I did not. So not really a good experience for me to trust them with something else
I received another message from Eunice regarding my ticket. This time, she asked me for my address and other information. Actually, these information are all on my order’s web record. I simply copied them from there. I am just wondering if she is able to navigating GB’s own web site and find information from the order records. I am so tired about this!
If anyone from GB is monitoring this thread, I would suggest you have better training for your employees. Please don’t keep wasting your customers’ time! Thanks.
Did you pay with PayPal? If so, ask them to “kindly check the Buyer Protection Policy.” And then file a dispute/claim.
If you paid with credit card, can still dispute the charge, but it will be more of an uphill battle. However, no proof of delivery generally equals full refund.
He will have to ask Mr.Admin to unban him. Autoban is meant for actual commercial spammers / spambots so I’d expect the autoban to stay in effect unless manually lifted.
If you wish to, you could contact Mr.Admin on his behalf. Technically, people marking his posts as spam and getting him autobanned was improper use of the spam button.
I recall Sb saying that the spam button is not meant for annoying posters, trolls or posts you don’t agree with. For trolls and other people causing a problem he said to pm him about it.
i think its good that the community has a tool to tell what they do not like!
but its always a small path between free speech and what is good the community (also outside this forum)
one of the best ways i have seen was a forum where the members can give “thanks” to posts or “dislike” it…
and if the negative votes became (10 or 20) more than the positive the thread was blinded out
the autoban happened when 5 posts of the “spammer” have been voted down.
but also there the Admin(s) had to look into the closes to go against “pitchforking hordes”
I hope you’re not implying that any of this has anything to do with the BLF Administration.
The reaction (the automatic ban) was generated by the BLF members by hitting the SPAM button. The Adminstration didn’t know anything about the ban.
Well, not until I told them.
And as soon as they found out about the ban, they lifted it!
As to the forum itself - indeed it is biased. People have biases and these biases tend to reveal themselves. Some people like certain vendors and let it be known. Others dislike certain vendors and let that be known, too. But no one plasters their opinion all over the discussion board like a madman.
