Olight has some questions for us on the other forum.
“We have decided that we want to get our fans involved. We have some copper prototypes for the S1 Baton. The one on the left is not coated and will patina over time. The one on the right is PVD coated. Which one would you buy? Would you prefer blue bezels or silver? Please let us know!!!”
The Baton series' design in copper is something special, it gives me a weird split feeling: does it look exclusive? or am I looking at a pipe coupling?
Either way the non-coated version looks way better to me, and please this bezel, not blue
Oh, and my strong principle is that copper lights should have warm tinted leds (or an incan bulb)
I love these little guys and might just pick up both the coated and uncoated, but it will be a shame if they end up using the blue bezels. I much prefer the silver, but it looks like most people are voting for blue.
Uncoated might be slightly more appealing, but I would accept both, coated or uncoated.
Just don’t make the bezel blue please. And could the button be made out of copper too? plastic button on beautiful brass light is just wrong…
clearly unfinished is the way to go .
the upside of these lights is you could use them to fix the shut off valve under your sink and … use them to fix the shut off valve under your sink.
