Olight i3s-CU max output is similar to Thrunite Tis with XP-L so not impossible.
“CU” model name is odd, I am a bit color blind and in advert I think it looks a bit red?
Is it some kind of alloy, not brass? If CUs modes is like standard i3s,not a bad flashlight me think.
I find it a bit annoying to be honest. Thrunite uses Ti as a model designation on lights that aren’t titanium… and then releases titanium versions. Is the TiS steel? No, it’s aluminum! But wait, there’s a steel version too! LOL and a titanium version! Now CU but not actually copper (I guess technically brass is partial copper). It only breeds confusion and I wonder why they do it or if it’s intentional. It’s starting to look more and more deliberate.
I look forward to learning more about the i3s CU, including the mode sequence, and whether the brass is lead free
and I would be even more interested if a high CRI version becomes available
I have an Alum i3s, its my primary edc. I love how light weight it is, and how smooth the threads are. Its modes are M-H-L 20-80-.5, with NO PWM.
I think the “CU” version will probably use a different driver, so maybe the sequence will change too.

Not for $52.95…
The Convoy 365UV has a Nichia UV LED in it already and it’s only $25.67 the only other thing needed would be the filter for a couple of dollars more.
