In this list the color means the whole light. The light only includes the rail mount. We only need a total of 50 lights of any color combination to reach the price of $20.59 for color and $22.59 for white. Right now, it seems that it’s either a complete light with whatever color you choose, or empty brass pills.

Those in the bare module list marked with a “pending lower price” are only interested if the price is significantly lower than the original $9 estimate. Right now the price SHOULD be $6.59 for the bare pill. Gear Best will update the price, I’ve been told.

I ordered 1 from fasttech to see how the light stacks up in person. If it impresses me I’ll be upping the qty to 10. One thought I had was that if it’s a plastic lens of a hard size to replace elsewhere, will Brinyte ever offer replacement lenses for sale?

Now for the 15-25 day wait for it to show up.

Ok folks. Pill pricing will be around $10 a piece. It seems they can not be shipped out bare, they need a red or green LED and driver. I am working with Brinyte to see if this is fixable, but it may not be. I have thought several times that they could be ordered bare, because that’s what was said. Post 1 and 2 updated for clarity. If this changes anything just shoot me a PM or post in this thread and I’ll update the numbers.

Edit: It seems some miscommunication exists between parties. The brass modules will not be bare, I wish I could change this- but it is not so right now. Also if we reach 50 total lights of any color- of the complete light will sell for $22.59 (white) or $20.59 (color). This makes it a lot better. Sorry for the initial confusion.

I didn’t see the lens comment yesterday. I’ll check with archer (brinyte rep) and see. I will say after this, I don’t think I’ll try to line up another one. I don’t know how those guys/gals do it who organize these all the time.

Gear Best will not be stocking the momentary switch. I have put in an email this morning to brinyte about the modes. The Gear Best listing is confusing, so I asked what they’re sending gear best. The listing also says 1 mode for the color modules, and mine was two. I’ll let you know what I hear.

I just noticed that the red aand green will be a couple bucks cheaper. Since I’m planning on using them as hosts anyway if red or green get close to 50 in addition to the white I may switch to the colored ones instead.

If I understand correctly each type of light doesn’t have to reach 50 for its best price. 50 total lights sold, in any combination of white/colors, gives us the lowest price on all of them.

That is true. Gear Best confirmed it today. So yes, if you are planning on using it as a host then get the colored versions. I still have not confirmed the modes of the drivers, if they are different from what I reviewed.

I’ve probably exchanged nearly 20 emails/PMs this morning alone. FYI Brinyte said they’d be putting this light up on their aliexpress store and they could customize drivers and offer additional stuff. I don’t have the link yet, but maybe they’ll sell the bare pills? I don’t imagine the price would be as good, but it’s something to check out.
