I would invest a little more for a good quality tool, these are things that last forever.
The new Leatherman Sidekick and Wingman costs 30 and 40usd in Home Depot. You can also get them on ebay for similar prices

That looks good. Please write a (short) review when you receive it, ok?
How much was the shipping cost?
Thanks for the info.
Seems, like once again cannot decide.
I guess it would be best to take both at first, then sell the one that pleases less in price/quality fashion locally.
That Ganzo sure looks like well finished piece and pricing is not that bad.
Added to cart and filled in fields + update, a bit under 5$.

Yes indeed but +15$ for shipping. Not bad suggestions, really nice looking.
I´m still a bit unsure, should I get a smallish tool like Leatherman Juice or bigger...
It just looks like all the tools have some gadget I know I wont be using ever
Ganzo 301 is well worth the extra $$$ over the mammut.
Hi, everyone here. From today on, I will try to keep you updated with some of the latest knives just for share, pliers.etc made in China(including some OEM products) in this topic. have fun

From Greatwall it ends up to 35$ with shipping
This is also high on my list:
...because of SIZE!
Small = always with you. ARGH
I paid 29.99+3.75(flatrate shipping to Germany) = $33.74. I will post my first impressions, as soon as the tool arrives. The new Leathermans seem to be nice and reasonably priced, but are missing the sheath, bitset and have no locking internal tools. (hilarious video though ;-) ) I already own a Leatherman Juice S2 and the Mammut. Jekostas warned me a bit of the overall Ganzo quality, but I saw various people seemed happy with this specific model.
Does anyone have Leatherman Wave and Ganzo g301, how they compare in size?
Ganzo a bit bigger?
Have been trying to Google for comparison pics...
Going to order one for my brother for christmas.
Ganzo is a lot bigger due to curved handles. I can post comparison pics tommorrow if wanted. I received my G301 today... what a beast. ;-) Humongously huge with the sheath + bits.
Leatherman Kicks are plentiful on Ebay, used and new. They can be purchased for $10-15 shipped, if patient. They are almost full-size, rather basic, good quality tools. Mine sits in the kitchen drawer and gets a lot of use.

Oh quit it, I already almost bought 2, now I´m thinking again
Hey everybody, I'm in the market for a decent quality multi-tool preferable under $20. I've always been carrying a Leatherman Micra and Swisstech tool on my keychain, not wanting anything too bulky. But being in college now, I carry a backpack everywhere, and can justify purchasing a multitool.
Would this Mammut be the one to get? (Any cheaper sites? From a US seller?)

Any other recommendations? I would love one with locking tools though.
Thanks!
My vote is also for the leatherman kick. It is well made for the money the tool is a decent usable size the blade is sharp and holds an edge well, the pliers are a very nice and a useable size. I use this thing at least twice a week and it has held up well for 5 years. It lacks scissors but a small pair of scissors such as those stainless steel units made in Pakistan will fit in the leather holster if you let the thumb holes hang out like mouse ears.

...+ another 10-15$ for intl shipping :(
for 15$ shipped, I definitely would not think twice

Good point. These things are almost stacked like firewood in the US, probably not elsewhere.
The pliers are OK and the 4 outer tools also, but the internal tools are a bit fiddly to use. Well worth the money, but don't expect too much from the build quality. In this thread the Mammut multi-tool is mentioned several times... stay away from that Gerber-fake at all costs. I decided that I need locking tools and ordered the Ganzo G301.
my wallet damns you. after receiving an enlan today, I went through the axis knives on exduct and actually resisted ordering - now I'm gonna spend twice as much as I would have had I caved!
Edited original post with my thoughts on it.

EDIT: I ordered it 10/27 and received it 11/19. Tool came packaged a little envelope in it's nylon case. Case is really thin and very very cheap feeling. The tool came with a couple of scratches and dents in it, would have been nice if seller used some bubble wrap around it. Mine was sterile, in that there was no logo or markings on it. :] Pliers work very well and comfortable to hold. They don't close correctly, meaning that the pliers have to bend the internal tools apart in order for the tool to close. For the 4 outer knives, you have to open it pretty forcefully or the liner lock wont engage. It's very stiff to open, and the 2 without the stud are annoying to open. The internal tools are also very hard to get out. Unfortunately, I think my scissor is defected. I cut with it, but the blades don't open up when I open it. It's very annoying. Also, the pivot of the scissor seems cut wrong that it forces the shell of the tool to bend when the scissor is out. I'll take pictures.
The tool is very very hard to open and close and to take the tools out. I just hope that with frequent use it might loosen. I will also try oiling with WD40 and see it works better. All in all, it's definitely still useable, but I don't feel happy with it, even though it was $12.
I my humble opinion the Leatherman kick is for the price (about $20-25) and a big step up from a micra, as the performance, quality and value leader. Frankly I don't think you can buy a good multitool for $12 it is hard enough to find a good pocket knife for $8-12 other than Sanrenmu
