Chrome, Opera, IE etc., are of no interest to me. I use so many FF extensions that I'm not up for changing. I find it v.annoying that to use KD's new site I now have to use a portable version of Opera.
I am not pleased and you can bet that with FF's huge user base I am far from alone. Unless KD sort it they will lose a hell of a lot of business.
+1. I've been a FF user since back when it was called Phoenix and it's the perfect browser for me. If it's a really important website, I may pull up a copy of IE in a sandbox (there's even a FF extension for that :D) but I am not installing another browser for any website.
This is sort of like opening a distillery in Utah. Sure, you can do it but it's probably not a smart move. Beta testing FTW. ;)
Ordered the C-8, went to my account for the order summary, and the status is back-ordered. So who knows when.
On the old Kaidomain page that was their "term" for "ordered at the supplier".
I hope that is still the case.
I tried buying one too, but ended up buying 4 because I hit enter by accident in the shopping cart after trying out bulkrate.
Then didn't pay for it and ordered another one, payed for it, then noticed the shipping address they showed me, missed the city. I don't know if they just forgot to add that to the website layout or something.
I ended up contacting CS twice for this order, once to cancel the first unpaid order and another to ask if they don't miss any address info and to use my paypal address if needed.
I only get 21 items in the flashlight DIY section. The search for flashlights is still garbage. I have come to like KD a bit lately but why cant they sit down and look at the DX site and learn from it. Hell it's china, just copy it.

City name is missing, indeed. Luckily the zip code should be enough for the package to find it's way to home.

I, too, bought one of the KD C8 lights at the new price as soon as this thread started but forgot to sign into my account before purchasing and now it's hard to track it. Are they really on back order? How soon do you guys expect shipment?

I got a reply from KD CS in a matter of hours. They said I didn't need to worry about the address, all was OK. Maybe the web-designer forgot to add the city field to the page or something. They probably use the paypal address anyway, I can't find any place on the new site to add or alter addresses.
I received the wrong dropin from KD today. I emailed them and PM’d them here. I have always been really lucky in all my orders. This is the first time I have ever received the wrong item. What would be a typical response to this problem? I also tried the RMA page on their site but it says it can’t find the order. I tried putting in other valid order numbers to see if they were recognized and they were not.
