Balder SE-1 for$20 shipped

Someone else mentioned this in another thread but I felt it needed its own thread. I'm suprised Ric didn't post this himself.

Having just received a review sample of the SE-1, I can tell you that this is an excellent buy at $20. My review should be coming in the next couple of days. Old4570 has his review up already so you can check his out now.

Just bought one. Thanks for the heads up :)

What's funny is now he has $30 as the "market price" when that was originally his selling price and the market price was higher.

I hope to get beamshots done tonight. With any luck, I should get the review up tomorrow sometime. A preview:

seems like a heck of a deal! Nice picture by the way! I was going to purchase this light but I saw that KD is selling the C8 for only $17. We'll see how it goes.

To get or not to get... looks really good. Can I reach into the screen and grab it?

Really well engineered looking light.

Waterproof, solid ,excellent for EDC or maybe car- a lot for $20.shipped.

If it had a smooth reflector option- would it be a cool little thrower ?

I likey a lot . knurling looks grippy

I'm sure most interested parties have seen it already, but my review is up.

I don't know if this has been posted before but the XM-L version is up and only costs $23. A very nice price for a no-strobe/3-mode/AA/XM-L light. Might have to get one. Is the head glued?

Even better than the E03 as for price/performance ratio. Drive level of ~ 1.8A (maybe more) is just nice for a pocket rocket. Plus this one is HA and supposed to have a real low.

tacticalhid is selling for the same price, but they add usd3 for shipping. And yes they are drop shipping from HK as well, so it's exactly the same as Ric which is from HK.

The NW version of the BD-2 that i received is pretty warm though, something like 3500k. But I like... (warm stuff) Would be killer if Balder can source some 3C ones.

didn't think this light could tailstand and couldn't find out of the clip would also fit the front of the light (for clipping to the brim of a hat) so I went w/ the xeno e03 instead.

I do prefer the style of this light, looks tough - but a pocket light comes out in the dark...right? :-P
