DinoDirect Will Be Getting More Of My Business

Well these two Trustfire flame 18650 batteries I got are unprotected. I got 3 more sets coming. Not a happy camper.

The ad even says protected as well as my invoice.

Sorry to hear this as I have some coming my way. Just curious what you are going to do now? Is it easy to contact them or not? Paypal dispute?

thanks.....

Their live support is pretty good, I just canceled my order... now waiting for a refund. They offered a $7 gift card... I declined and insisted on a PP refund. They agreed.

im waiting on my first order from them. took 4 days to reach shipped status. ive got a uf2100 in the cart so if they didnt mess anything up, and it gets here before the big sale ends... ill buy that too

Summer just said he/she have checked with product centre and will make sure they are protected. I like ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS have another 3 pairs coming.

Well Sharon said I will get a full refund for this pair in my paypal account in 2 days. The other order we will wait and see and go from there. My question I wanted answered with Sharon via live chat is how in the hell did I get these fakes from their company. She tried to say that Trustfire goofed. I'm not buying that. They don't even make Trustfire flame unprotected 18650 batteries that I am aware of corrcect me if I am wrong.

I believe they do make unprotected Trustfire flames.

They may. Can you show me a link?

I think/hope(are on my way too xD) that the batteries from DD are original.. or very good fakes

That's good to hear that they took care of you.

That is true.

Thanks for the pictures MixoMaxo.

I have a pair of UNprotected 14500 flames and a pair of protected 14500 flames. The UN put out more current than the protected.

I wonder if these 18650's are the same with regards to that?

Slightly. UniqueFire UF-2100 protected 3.5A and unprotected 3.8A.

My UN-protected took "only" 3,8A but for reference, it is still higher than with my previous TF Flame protecteds with same DMM.

Well I just got done charging both of mine with the Xtar WP2 charger and both topped off at 4.13 volts. That's the exact same as the protected ones I have.

The cells UN-protected have his physical limit, in the protected is regulated(lowered) by the pcb

btw you can't never say how much with chinese batteries, it varies from lot to lot

@ILIKEFLASHLIGHT the protection pcb usually cut at 4,25/4,3v and at 2,7/2,5v down, in my experience, than in that case the charger stop the charge at 4,13v(optimal for make it last long), but I prefer charge at 4,25 volt, cell will give a 10/15% extra power but also will be damaged sightly faster

Just about to test that OnLine help feature on DD.

Let´s see how it ends up.

edit:

Seems that they would like the Idea of me keeping these, since it "would be a lot simplier".

I said it would be simplier to send right items...

He/she has checked that there is no difference, even after I tried to explain it.

Have send photo of actual battery. Also have send screencaps of their site (They could not open the link, at least they said so) with unprotected batt and protected batt.

Does not look good, have to send more pictures.

Let´s see who gives up first.

Ok, after 1 hour and 25 minutes of slow discussion and 8 pictures sent, they will not answer to my typing at OnLine help.

So much for that I guess...

Opened Paypal dispute about it.
