my antivirus Avire Antivirus personal stops it, but it keeps coming bac.
How do I get rid off it?
Try Malwarebytes and run a spyware scan.
Is it only from clicking links on the forum here? Because I’ve had a few such redirects here also. Some links appear as xxxx.nz.cc then take me to some phishing fake survey site…
The old site was Budgetlightforum.cz.cc ... so probably some broken links... the whole cz.cc domain is flagged as suspicious by many virus scanners. So I would not worry to much and report the broken links to Mr.Admin. It seems that the redirect function of CZ.CC -> com is broken now. I don't know if there is an easy way to do a "search and replace" for all hyperlinks.
That explains a lot. I guess cz.cc is abusing the traffic to direct it towards phishing sites then.
