Actually, that Quasar 8 is not a bad deal on their site. The included batteries suck but you get a C8 size XM-L flashlight, two 18650 batteries and a two bay charger for $23. The Quasar 9 is a triple XM-L/3 x 18650 light (looks just like the BLF version) that comes with 3 batteries and a two bay charger for $48.44.
So, the BLF deal was $41.50 without batteries and charger . . . their regular price is just $7 more for 3 batteries and a charger?
I must say, I appreciate very much your efforts to keep us happy with this group buy. This kind of seller involvement/concern is great. If the actual flashlight is as good as your customer service, we're all in for a real treat.
I have received emails saying it should be working now but it is not working.
I do NOT receive the COOKIES error message - the site's registration says "SUCCESS" but I have not received the CONFIRMATION Message. I even logged on using credentials so the site would RESEND the confirmation email message.
It has not been received now 6 hours later.

Being in China, I have no access to Youtube ... Great Firewall blocks out most social web sites including Youtube ..
However, not being able to see your link .. the one we're selling actually screws in .. have a look at the post with the pictures attached..
We really need to move the rest of the flashlights remaining in this offer ... approximately 55 left .. would love to show off the new stuff we've got ..
Even better, so are you guys buying these off trustfire and reselling or tooling these and using trustfire screw-in’s or making the lot your self,s in China ?
Just curious, mate. I like to get a feel for who I'm dealing with before I do business, that’s only natural , isn’t it? (I guess BJ Fookes Pty Ltd would agree with that given hindsight. )
I always worry especially once sellers effectively hurry me and others saying only 55 units left, so buy quick, and do so even before anyone has even received a single light.
Alfred you might be on the straight. But, boy oh boy, you work damn hard at giving the impression that you are not, don't you? That's a fair comment, is it not?
You are right re the paypal protection - provided there is money left in the traders paypal account.
Your comments re personal info are wrong. Alfred is listed everywhere as the legal contact for his business and so puts himself into the public domain. Also all links I posted were to business related matters and/or are freely published. None were confidential or private.
Alfred chooses often to only tell the truth/full story when challenged. Just as he says his location is Australia only saying it is not when challenged. I also find lots of other such inconsistencies. In some places he claims to be a Designer and Manufacturer. In some places he claims 50+ staff, in others only 5 or 10. It goes on and on.
I have fair cause for concern and simply want to provide Alfred with a chance to answer those concerns, concerns which are probably causing many not to take up his offer. Remember - It is Alfred not me that is saying he needs to shift another 55 units quick or he won't show us the new stuff (post 112). So if Alfred can resolve the valid concerns that are stopping myself and others from buying then it can only be good for his business. Fair enough?
I can certainly understand your perspective and caution. However in another thread, he made it clear where he was operating from back on Oct 11, 2011 during his intro thread.
I have not bought anything from Alfred yet due to waiting for reviewers feedback of the light, so I have no affiliation or investment. He has so far answered my questions promptly (but I do understand the final evaluation will be based on product and customer service).
Just wanted to give a balance input but still understand your cautious approach.
Actually he 'introduced' himself earlier than that with a double lie. He registered with BLF claiming his location to be Australia when it was China. And in his very first post on BLF (post 10 of this thread) he claimed to be a simple satisfied customer of his company rather than the owner. If someone starts with a double lie am I that insane to have some doubt about them?
I would like to trust Alfred but as yet have serious doubts that such trust would be well placed.
I am not this time being called a Whinging Pom. Instead I have multiple PM's from YouWantLED claiming my parents were not married.
Plus he appears to think I may be someone from his past that has caught up with him. I am not (thank God).

Nothing I have said in this thread can harm your business. If the lights which you claim to have dispatched arrive and are as good as you say they are then nothing I have said will have any effect. BLF'ers will flock to you. So why are you getting your thong in such a twist right now?
