I unscrewed the head a little bit from the tube, put the clip on reverse style and tightened it. Light still works and now the light can securely go in a hat
I wouldn’t carry it every day like this, but in a pinch it’ll work for a backup headlamp when I can’t get to my real headlamp.
You can wrap the threads with teflon plumbing tape to keep them water resistant and replace the friction lost being past the O-ring. I like your idea on this…
Haha, I was going to type some comedy gold but I see I am too late. Ok, maybe not gold but it would have been good, or have just confused everyone
I had seen the closing info. but the website seems to say that the item just isn’t available for order. Looks like they would still accept orders with a delayed ship date mentioned.
Right now every item in the Convoy store shows up as no longer available. I would advise waiting until 27th when he is scheduled to reopen to place an order.
I’ll do that. Hadn’t checked any other items but that makes sense. Do you know what their usual time interval is from order placement to delivery in the US? From what I have read, this is one of the best overseas merchants to deal with. Thanks
My orders on average take about 2 weeks to get from the Convoy store to my home in Michigan. In my opinion Simon’s company (Shenzhen Convoy Electronics) is indeed one of the best overseas merchants to deal with. I’ve ordered a ridiculous amount of items from Simon. In the beginning I was a little skeptical because I wanted to use PayPal and that was arranged through chat messages and emails but he had a good reputation on BLF so I took a chance. As you probably know I am glad I did. There have been very few issues in my many orders and on the rare occasion that an issue comes up he handles it properly. Keep in mind the Spring Festival AKA Chinese New Year going on right now pretty much brings China to a standstill so for this period of approximately one month everything coming from China is delayed/disrupted.
