ZWB2 20x1.5mm filter lens added.

My question is, Would one use both the UV LED AND the Filters?
Or does the LED emit enough light?

I really don’t want to sound repetitive in my questions…but I am trying to garner enough information to justify to my company to invest in me purchasing medium sized quantities of parts to create inspection lights.

I “purchased” one UV light already, but it emits to little UV be used in our inspection. The requirements for Black Light inspection is 1000 u/cm² at the work surface (about 15 inches). The one I have is about 200 u/cm²…

I have located this LED, already on a board…

LED Engin LZ1-10UV00-0000 - Single Color Ultraviolet 365nm Emitter w/starboard

1: $35.48
10: $31.35
25: $28.14
100: $23.93

I do not know if this is a decent price per 25.

Yes, you would use the UV filter with the UV LED to filter out the excess visible light that is emitted along with the UV. I installed one on my 365nm UV light and it really makes fluorescence punch. Enjoy a nice walk through your bathroom for a fun time… Even walking through the house… Every particle of dust glows.

hah…I would rather not…I am not OCD and would prefer not to become one!

Got my UV LEDs, very fast shipping. Great LEDs!

I fascinated by the amount of UV light/fluorescence it creates. My kitchen and bathroom look absolutely hideous.

Working with these tiny objects for me is like trying to push a camel through the eye of a needle.
Is it possible for you to send me a led on a (16mm) Noctigon? And if possible, what would be the price for a led+board?

It is easiest if led4power does this for you, but if not, I can reflow the led for you also.

If you asked me,yes just tell me which noctigon,16mm or 20mm(+2:money_mouth_face:.

Earlier this afternoon the mail(wo)man delivered:

- a tiny UV-led, spotless flowed onto a 16mm Noctigon

- covered with a minuscule “jock-strap” to prevent it from damage

- packed in a small anti-static bag, sealed,

- packed in a small bubble bag, sealed,

  • packed in a bubble-lined envelope.

A quick test with my DMM led to the conclusion that everything was OK.

So if this build leads to something less than expected, I only can blame it on myself
Thank you.

Sooo I bought one of this emitter, along with a ZWB2 glass and put it together in an S2 with a 2*7135 Nanjg driver.
Here are some crappy pics of it :

Random emitters :

Glow paint :

Plastic tool handle (sorry…) :

Tail light of my bike :

Garage sink (ugh) :

Highlighter ;

Snowboard :

Phosphor is reallty glowing with that UV :

Thank you led4power !
If you could source some 10mm ZWB2 glass I would make a nice pocket 348 with this LED !

So… Gearbest seems to be worse than I imagined, they used one of my pics above to make a false review of the ZWB2 lens they sell :

Paypal sent for 4 leds and two lenses
THANK YOU

Paypal sent for one led and one lens.
Thank you

I already got it :+1:

The dot on the top side is which polarity?

Side where are thin gold wires (you can see them through lens) is cathode (-).

These still available?
